You do not have a very good translation with your version of the Bible, the original language of it gave no basis for that position.
Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I am." We can understand what he meant, the Jewish leaders he spoke with did. They were willingly going to stone him for what they understood he meant, and they were not wrong about what he meant, but they would stone him because they did not believe him. Do not continue to have that in common with them. Logos, the Word with God, who is God, the same one, came in the flesh, in the incarnation, as a man, with his whole life from when a baby. This incarnation is called the Son of God, as the revelation from the angel made known, as shown from Luke. As the Son of God, Jesus has a relationship with the Father in Heaven, who he speaks with. He is still the supreme being, which means he is God. There is only agreement to the same will, among the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, and never any disagreement. As a man Jesus struggled but that did not change. There was always only one God, a single being.
