Uh no, on multiple multiple occasions god/Jesus was adamant about not hurting children. "Woe unto thee that harms the little children" and so on.

Aside from that god specifically said though thou shall not murder, it got reworded over time to be kill instead of murder. So if I did something that mistakingly caused someone's death or I kill someone in self defense that's one thing, but murdering someone intentionally and knowingly ending someone's life without cause. Which is what abortion is. Once an egg is fertilized that's it, it's a baby. Aside from unforseen consequences if you leave it alone it will be born in 9 months. Doesn't matter if its just a blob it's still a baby that will spend the next 16 to 20 years evolving and growing.

So abortion is a double whammy. You harmed a child and committed murder.

I know suicide is considered the ultimate sin, but honestly to me I'd say harming a innocent child is the worst thing you can do.

Being pro-choice all boils down to justification. It's all about justifying the killing of a fetus. It is justified in many ways, such as:
a woman has rights

a fetus isn't a person

life for both the mother and the child would be worse if the child was actually born

if the fetus is not terminated by a real doctor then it would be done by an unqualified person in a backroom alley, harming the mother so it's better to have a real doctor in a real facility perform the murder.


Interesting though the parallels with actual murder. Murder is OK if it is justified as in self defense. Most other times murder is not justified, even if society would actually be better off if the victim was dead (refer to black criminals killed by law enforcement). I think both sides should do their very best to keep the number of abortions down as close to zero as possible. The left actually promote abortion, even up to the point of aborting a nine month old fetus, just because it hasn't been born yet. I would have more sympathy for the left if they tried their best to keep the number of abortions down instead of promoting it.
