I Think That I Just Discovered The Reason Why The Black Crime Rate In America Is So High

Good I'm glad. Which speaking of the Bible, I wonder if these children would be a whole lot more disciplined nowadays if parents didn't spare the rod and spoil the child.
All I know is my own experiences.
Mom and dad did not believe in beating us. I had one brother who I will tell you was an outlaw. He died years ago, 8 years younger than me. I was not beat and came out fine. Mom and dad did take all of us to church.
I married a woman who came with 2 children. I never beat them. The son I lived with is my stepson and he and his children, a man and woman all served time in prison. Today everyone of them have fine children.

There's a fine line between corporal punishment and flat out abuse.

Why is it a fine line? Once kids get whipped, seems it creates resentment. There are more than two ways to correct kids.

My outlaw brother was a good kid until he rode in a car with me and told Mom I was racing and reckless. I decided not to take him with me. After that he really got resentful and was a problem child after that and later spent time in jail. I never spent time as an outlaw and never went to jail. I was not beaten.

Earlier in life, mom was married to my actual dad and one time he whipped me for busting out a window in the adjacent empty home. My cousin said I never would bust the window, so I took him up on his challenge, We were maybe in the 1st grade of school.

Yeah but it also seems like they would never make the same mistake more than once either.
Have you any children? If you have them, do you spank them?

When kids are ignored for the good things they do, it seems likely they will resort to bad things.

No not yet but I plan on having kids soon and yes I plan on spanking them at times, but that doesn't mean that I will ignore them for the good things that they do either.

It's because stupid stuff like this happens. Yesterday I made a topic how this girl wasn't originally going to receive her diploma and now the school caved in and gave it to her anyways!! Which teaches her absolutely NOTHING!! And I'm a little bit upset this morning about it because my man and I were talking about how we would raise our children a whole LOT better than this and her diploma would be cut up, ripped up, and or she would be forced to repeat her grade for acting like a fool and make the whole graduation ceremony about her, but somebody told us that she still deserves that diploma and it's the school that should grow up.

Umm,.. newsflash!! If she did something like that at a workplace would she still have that job? I also find it incredibly hard to believe that she will be able to find a job now and all she's learned from this is if she pouts enough about it eventually people will cave in and she will get her way.

Which she probably learned her whole entire life and has had no stable father or father figure in her home with her. I also say that this is probably why the black crime rate is so high because these kids have no fathers or father figures and no real discipline so if they think that they're above school rules, then they most likely think that they're above the law too!!

MAN, I am so angry right now at this person that we know that was calling out the school for their original course of action and calling us out for wanting to teach our children discipline and being held accountable for their actions since it's that kind of thinking that got our country into the problems with crime among the young people and especially the blacks in the first place!! The school should have stood their ground on this because they're just part of the problem!! 😡

Nope, you actually haven't discovered a damn thing other than you & Lisa558 appear to be two peas in the same bigoted pod.
