The premier of Ontario is in Washington, desperate to have some people listen to him. He promotes the idea of "Fortress North America" ahead of deep fears that USMCA will be rippednup (after governments at all levels here seemed to foolishly sabatoge our relationship with the U?S to obtain votes from the retired Baby Boomers).

This trip comes after he repeatedly went after the president with his ill-advised ads and saying he would cut off electricity to the U.S "with a smile". That really enraged Trump and his team and many Americans I would argue.

I considered that what Americans are probably thinking, "we want Fortress America, not North America, we are the ones making the investment and outsourcing our jobs, for what reason ornbenefit to our workers?".

Americans, and increasingly economists, now see tariffs as more of a requirement than in the past, especially as the U.S is always at a disadvantage when dealing with trade since either nations have tariffs and many non-tariff barriers in place.

Sadly, Ford has blindly supported the police outfits here, especially the TPS, many who have engaged in spreading anti-American hatred, I know some of their names. This irrational support has hurt him and our economy in Ontario and stunted our ability to become a free nation and compete in a highly competitive global marketplace.

A planned reception with Doug Ford and American billionaire Ross Perot Jr. in D.C. was cancelled Monday, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

WASHINGTON - A planned reception with Doug Ford and American billionaire Ross Perot Jr. in D.C. was cancelled Monday, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

A spokesperson for the Chamber tells CTV News the event was “pulled down due to scheduling reasons,” but did not provide further information. Perot Jr. is the chair of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The Premier’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment or provide an explanation, however Ford responded to questions about the cancellation on Tuesday, telling reporters “there was a little conflict of scheduling.”

He responds that way as a conditioned position of elitism within the system. Remember the term "caste" I use ocassionally it is not hyperbole and it is really a disgusting term that even the current Communists in China despise as it removes all element of individual contribution via merit.

We inherited our system from the British and were I suppose pulled between the two dichotomies of the U.S system and the old, dying British caste system. In regards to the "G-d ordained right of kings", this is how people like Ford think. They are police state lapdogs (in fact, I think more than one of his son-in laws is a cop).

His dad was a politician. Ford dropped out of college after a semester or something, only has a high school degree. He and his brother (R.I.P, I really did like Rob as I thought he was genuine who cared about people) get into politics off his fathers name. He inherits his dads label business and his family home. He has a huge place up north worth millions.

Trump respects intelligence. Win or lose, you go for it in life and roll the dice, but he speaks about his uncle who taught at M.I.T often out of respect for his credential. I remember listening to Trump in his prime, he was calm and a decent speaker. Intelligence was important to him and his peers in his heyday.

Ford is not that type. He has the "G-d ordained" syndrome. Where Trump questions police actions on Jan 6th and calls out potential provocateurs, Ford had a very difficult opinion of the trucker convoy and also fined people $5000 if they went outside during covid lockdowns. He has often made pre-judgements and unhelpful statements on charges against citizens in which the citizens was found not guilty. A famous one was a man in Toronto who took off from undercover cops in his car with his newborn and pregnant wife, not knowing there was someone behind him and the plain clothed cop unfortunately died.

Well, the police apparently had quite different notes (the judge suspected collusion) than the video from the garage indicated and if not for this video, this man who is presumably innocent, especially when surrounded at 1 am in a garage by plain clothed cops he didn't know were cops and just trying to keep his family safe; he would have been sentenced to life.

Ford has also made odd statements of peoples fidelity to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. A very different position than people like myself and certainly different than Trumps belief in the U.S Constitution.

So, when you hear my story and realize they have destroyed me (and they are far from finished decades into their persecution), understand that citizens here have to face these very same people in power. These very same police who almost put an innocent man in prison for decades. These very same agencies and government officials who are accountable to no one.

Canadian economists and business owners know that Canadas economy is in big trouble if USMCA goes away. We could see a big push for separation and it frightens them. They see the grip on the abusive and unaccountable being exposed. Similar to the former East Germany I speak often of.

Unfortunately for these officials who lack vision and the ability to be frank and honest; Trump is in power and has a well informed administration. He knows he has the cards. Canadian officials know that all the bluster and feigning that "we will find another nation to export to" is a bluff because the U.S has been our great ally. We have not always reciprocated and unenlightened people ignored my warnings while suppressing my pursuits, a lose/lose for me (and the country in my opinion).

I first reached out to the U.S during the Obama administration. I respected the fact that YOUR government, recommended me to the Civil Rights Division. It was the first time anyone cared about my concerns. YOUR border guards told my wife and I, cryptically, "we don't have a problem with you, but..." I will stop there, but he hinted that we were detained on my nations request. Even told us "have a nice day" as we drove into the U.S and visited.

I had been to the U.S multiple times and always enjoyed my time there. Had a blast, got along with people, treated very well as they probably see me as being much like them. Unfortunately for them, I am an anomaly in Canada.

Ford is just one headache of many and it could have been different if he had been more objective during his political career. He went from arrogance a year ago to fear today. I am sure the warnings that 10% of Toronto home owners are going to NOT qualify for their mortgage soon has to create more worry for him and the province. We have 5 year terms here, it is a joke as you guys have 25 year terms.
