Trump was merely hip checked for easily debunked "mistruths". That is what competent moderators are supposed to do. To not do so makes them complicit in the lie. As if they endorsed it.

So simply informing the candidate that no state in the United States makes it legal to kill babies is hardly 'harrassment'. I know y'all know that.

But also what must be noted, is that he was gifted by the moderators with far more time than Harris. He was allowed to go back to respond when the topic had moved on. Harris was not. He was allowed to run on in his rambling answers, often off-topc.....Harris was not.

Trump, per Trump, had the best debate he ever had. He won it. Per Trump. His approval rating for the debate, per Trump, was through the roof.
He soundly thrashed Harris, per Trump.

So, with the Republican nominee for President leaving the field and declaring himself the overwhelming winner......what's the beef by the MAGAs? Their man won, per their man. What more could they need?

One can say the sane thing about Trump when he asked House republicans to block the immigration bill which would have given the president the permanent legal authority to limit boarder crossing and the personnel to enforce it. As long we have a law that allow migrants to put their foot on US soil and ask for asylum, we will never stop the hoards crossing the border. We can close the boarder for short periods as Trump did or limit the number of crossing per day as Biden did but the courts will not allow that to become a permanent solution unless we change the law.

The solutions at the border need to come from Congress and be written into law. Who the hell cares how and why a bill gets made as long as it gets made. It was bipartisan and provided much needed resources to the border.. it was an opportunity to actually get someone done and Trump blew it
