Why do Democratic Congresspeeps get so Angry when Nominees don't Answer "Who Won the 2020 Presidential Election" Following their Script?

I like the way Blumenthal leads with the "who won . . . " question instead of pretending he's going to ask relevant questions as his Dem colleagues sometimes pretend before they get to what they think is a grand "gotcha."

I get it. Dems are used to being unofficially in charge of the judicial branch and that power hold has been weakened. But why get so angry when a witness answers a question exactly as they knew the witness would?

Is the anger faked? I don't think so. Maybe they intended to pretend to be outraged, but got caught up in it?

I also wonder, if this is such a grand gotcha, why don't any of our own Democrats ask this question? Clearly Biden is still beloved among the Democrats in Congress. Have the Dems on here lost interest in Joe Biden? Or have the Dems on here just flat lost interest in being Dems and have all converted to the "not Dem" category?

I just wish the nominee would have given a better answer. I would have said:

1. Sir, you just cut me off from answering, so why should I bother to try to answer any further if you just keep cutting me off?
2. Before that, I would have answered that Joe Biden was certified president in 2020 as you very well know Sir, the question that remains is that a great many millions of people still have looming doubts over the legality of how that election was conducted.
3. And if that didn't work, I would have pointed out that in the 2/3/21 Time Magazine article by Molly Ball, the democrats admit that they stole that election to save themselves from America having free choice.

So, in answer to who won the 2020 election, I would have asked why his special interest in that one election? Then I would have answered that who really won the 2020 election is still a matter of heated debate because that question was never allowed to be asked back in 2020 when it actually mattered.
