I like the way Blumenthal leads with the "who won . . . " question instead of pretending he's going to ask relevant questions as his Dem colleagues sometimes pretend before they get to what they think is a grand "gotcha."

I get it. Dems are used to being unofficially in charge of the judicial branch and that power hold has been weakened. But why get so angry when a witness answers a question exactly as they knew the witness would?

Is the anger faked? I don't think so. Maybe they intended to pretend to be outraged, but got caught up in it?

If I were a judicial nominee being vetted by Congress, I would be very well aware of the FACT that neither a sitting judge NOR a judicial nominee should address such questions.

Thus, regardless of my own personal opinion about whether the Dims stole the 2020 election, I would also have declined to signify the fake ass question with any such an answer.

(My personal opinion has been stated before: I have no reason to believe that all the voting and/or tabulation was on the “up and up.” What I don’t know and can’t figure out is whether such efforts actually worked. To this moment I don’t know if the imbecile who served as President, starting in January 2021, was the true winner or just the beneficiary of election fraud.)
