Who will ever trust America again?

For years the only reason the world put up with us was because they had their hand out and we kept filling it with our credit card or unfair trade.
No one trusted 44 but he handed out cash like we were a bottomless money barrel.
The whole idea that anyone trusted the U.S. is simply ludicrous. Every four years we trade off one policy for another. Each one of the new administrations has its own ideas of how each country, each faction should be treated.
The only thing that was consistent from one administration to the other was that we were willing to shell out money. The more money we shelled out the better they liked us.

"Our reputation"?????? Got a mouse in your pocket? Your reputation is one that never leaves this forum except for cashing your welfare check and working that EBT card until the magnetic strip is whittled away to a faint scribble.

Nearly 19,000 posts per year for eleven years? Albeit the small sample of fool-fueled rants of nothingness that are your piss-poor attempts at thoughtful prose that I have bothered to peruse? I suspect that 99.9 percent of everything you have posted, parrots the lamestream media hacks like Damon Linker......what a fucking joke. He is just another fabian socialist sack of shit that apparently has gotten more extreme as he grows more senile. Great champion for the commie cause, wrongwinger.

No amount of apology will make up for the damage Trump has done to our global reputation.
As we withdraw from our allies, we abdicate our title of "Leader of the Free World". Maybe it's Germany now.

If Trump is re-elected, it'll take quite a bit longer for the world to trust us, even after he's gone. If he isn't, they'll see we're not as he portrays us. In that case, I think things could get back to normal fairly soon.

I am not so sure after Shrub jr. and agent Orange it just will not be that easy.

I couldn't care less what the rest of the world thinks of us. The only time we hear from them is when they need money, or our military to defend their useless asses.

Another lamo thread brought to you by RW that oh so lefty loon.

Republicans complained about Obama’s “Apology Tour”. No amount of apology will make up for the damage Trump has done to our global reputation.

But fixing America's foreign policy will require much more than simply erasing bad memories of Donald Trump and reverting to the technocratic competence of the Obama administration. In fact, righting our course may demand greater skill and influence than it's reasonable to assume Biden or any other president could possess.

That's because Trump's distinctive ineptitude and incoherence on the world stage is only a symptom of a much bigger and more systemic problem.

America's inconsistency

Really? Trump declared the use of WMDs a red line, and then when WMDs were used in Syria, did nothing except welcome the Russians who started fighting against our allies?

Trump is the one that made us unreliable? Trump did that?

Trust should be earned- what has the US gov't done to earn its citizens trust, never mind he rest of the world?

You forget about when you go begging to them for troops for the wars you start. But that is a very American forgetfulness.

Why would you apologize for the greatest administration in the history of the world

I doubt we beg anyone for troops. The UN, maybe?? Us. I doubt we have ever begged anyone for help to fight a war. We don't need their help. Our military is better than any in the world.
