Who Made Americs Great?

I sometimes question this 'America is great' sentiment. As some of the founders were saying 'all men are created equal', we had slaves and continued having them even after the civil war. Lots of free labor for hundreds of years. A country that's great wouldn't tolerate that. This hatred and fear of Blacks lives on today in red states where repubs are formulating all kinds of policies to make it very hard for Blacks to vote. A country that's great wouldn't have the homeless and poverty stricken people we have while a handful of billionaires have more wealth than millions of ordinary citizens.

This country has had a bi-partisan consensus of racial equality for blacks since the early 1960s.

Your pretense that "red states" are still "hating and fearing blacks" is delusional nonsense.

America is the greatest nation of all time. So far.

The homeless and poverty stricken in this country are far better off than most of the world's residents. That is why they are breaking our doors down to get in. As for people who have billions? Jealousy will get you no where, get off of your ass and earn it. And yes, the founders said "All men are created equal" In the current day that is still true. Opportunities are also equal. So if, being created equal with equal opportunity, you don't thrive, it is your own damn fault.
