I’m a big Blazer fan and relished the championship they won over Philly but I loved Dr. J and was happy to see him win it all and Malone was a stud. They played defense back then.

I saw Julius Erving when he was playing college ball at UMass. In the old Cage. You weren't allowed to dunk in games then but he'd dunk in warmups. It was awesome. Trivia question. Does anyone remember who his point guard was at UMass?

I’m not sure if it was during Dr J’s years but Rick Pitino was a UMass PG.
