Find a better job. You should have paid attention in school.

I collected rents on the first of the month and paid bills on the 2nd ... that left me with four weeks paid vacation every month ... (what job could be better) ... I can't think of any other profession that allows so much free time than landlords ... more than enough time to serve on the legislature ...

I'm not saying every legislator is a "hands-on" rental manager like I was, but rental real estate is an important component of any diversified investment portfolio ... so I believe it when it's said that over 90% of legislators across the country have a vesting interest in the prosperity of landlords ... our most recent President is a good example ... it's not only that landlords write all the Landlord/Tenant Laws ... they write all the laws ...
