Putin came suddenly, no one knew him then. It was connected with the arrival of the right in the US, with the arrival of Bush Jr. He quickly brought order to the country, and cooperated with the United States. This continued until the arrival of Obama, after which his power was shaken, a little later he left the ruling party. His power is severely limited now.
All this is absolutely accurate and I will not discuss it.
Now the question is: what does he represent now? Is he still fighting for the Bush cause? But in Russian politics, it has shifted a lot to the left.
Does Putin support what is happening now in Russia or is he a crypto-oppositionist and wants to revive Bush system?
If he brought Trump to power, this is not in favor of the fact that Putin is for Bush. Trump is the anti-Bush and he ruined the Republican Party.
Here it is possible that Putin was counting on him, but he was scamed. Or the option that Putin was never for Bush, he was waiting for the moment in order to promote the policy of the trumpsters, something pro-German.
