Who Here is Happily Married?

.

Great points.

All the Catholic husbands I know are far too intelligent to expect obedience from their wives. Catholic wives/mothers are a force to be reckoned with.

As are the other Christian women I know.

.

Yes....hehee.

Submit = I acknowledge you as the head of this household, and I might have different thoughts but I will respect that God has ordained you as head

Obey = I will do what you command

Those are not the same!

tell me about it OPJQ...... ;) ~S~

The women in the Altar Society at my church can just about move mountains.

And look at them -- I know some women from church that have been married to their husbands for as long as SEVEN DECADES. If a man can stay with her for that long, she's got something.

I know a woman who runs a sheep farm with her husband 175 head this year. She's got a bad back and when her husband got injured this year, all of the lambing chores were her responsibility, and their ewes put out a high number of twins, and a lot that had issues. They didn't lose one lamb.

That's a woman not to be trifled with.

Good for you, Muddy!

Does this mean I can take you off my prayer list of "people in mourning"? I'm guessing you will mourn for her for a long time, having heard about what a lovely person she was!

Best of luck to you and your new love.

I will always miss my wife of 46 years, but now I have new challenges....and I have someone to take my mind off of her.

The woman I married left me years ago.
That's probably the only reason I was able to move on so quickly.
Now I have a ready made family and maybe I'll have a chance to be a father, finally.

My Brother In Laws mother back in Wisconsin just turned 100 and is still strong enough to live by herself.
