Don't disagree. I just wish he was a more polished human being and not such an egotistical narcissist. But the point I'm trying to make is that there is a middle ground that I would assume the vast majority are in, yet, we are presented with polar opposites by our current gov't.
Dude's gonna win.
Big.
The economy was great under Trump. So low fuel and food prices, closing the southern border, sucked as a choice?
And the sky is blueThe economy was great under Trump.
HOWEVER.... my point, is our current political climate and choices says this: You're either Republican or Democrat and these are the choices you have, deal with it. Where is our viable, third option that presents actual true bipartisanship?
Should a good majority of Americans be forced into one camp or the other while having to discard some of their ideas?
Evidently, you had a hoard of terlit tissues for the great shortage of 2020.The economy was great under Trump.

Yes there is. It's just that there are conservatives who are afraid to express that they give two shits about gay civil rights because it might offend their evangelical buddies. There are leftists out there who support the 2A, and believe in sensible abortion rules, but they don't want to be labeled or hated in their social circles. The problem is that too many have bought into the idea that it's one or the other, good vs evil, and we have taken on this terrible dichotomy that is splitting this republic in half.Don't let your feelers get in the way of good decisions, kid.
Why do you think that there is some vast untapped middle ground, there is literally no evidence for that.
And the sky is blue
Sorry if you don't like the color blue.

So, you are saying if Republicans cut the budget, Progs will say thank you as the resources slowly dry up in all of our agendas. Stealing, graft and corruption is part of all of this with a lot of it from all of our personal irresponsible actions. He wont because none of you actually want those things, which is why you keep voting for more spending and bigger Govt.
So, you are saying if Republicans cut the budget,
There isn't a candidate running, and hasn't been since the GOP primary in 2012 that comes close to your bill of particulars and certainly none in a November contest in over a hundred years. Go fishing and live your life as best you can.First, this is not to turn into a debate about the individual thoughts below. The thoughts below are not exhaustive either.
The point here is that our country is squarely divided. For many of us, our political leanings are not squarely on one side. So who would you vote for?
- Fiscally conservative
- Believe in the constitution
- Understand the concept of our Federal Republican
- Limited Taxes
- Small Gov't
- Crony free Capitalism
- Freedom of religion
- Proper separation of religion and state
- We are NOT a Christian nation
- Personal freedoms as outlined by the Bill of Rights
- Equity in opportunity
- The individual can be as successful as they want to be and is dependent on their own personal choices.
- Support the 2A
- Sensible abortions; Rape (incest is the same as rape in my book) life of the mother and should be limited to first trimester
- LGBTQ - Let them marry it's a civil union, not a spiritual union.
- Let adults undergo Gender affirming care (GAC) as long as they fully understand the long term and permanent affects and IMO, is an elective procedure at the individual's cost.
- GAC is not paid for by medicare/aid
- Leave children alone
- I do believe we can do better with Healthcare, this nation has too many resources that we can't come to a sensible solution. I don't know how it get's done as governments don't have a strong track record of providing Universal Healthcare.
These types of polls are meaningless, as a majority of the electorate are low-information voters who don't understand politics, rely on social media for opinions, and know more about sporting events and pop culture than the people they vote into office. Why did Democrats select Biden in the primaries and the overwhelming number of committed delegates if they are embarrassed by him?
Good luck finding a candidate that satisfies yur 18 point test. That's part of the problem and point i'm trying to make. The choices suck.
Why don't we see that as a problem? There isn't a candidate running, and hasn't been since the GOP primary in 2012 that comes close to your bill of particulars and certainly none in a November contest in over a hundred years. Go fishing and live your life as best you can.
Why don't we see that as a problem?
NOPE - we can't. There is no solution for this... ZERO.... government healthcare results in rationing, and the status quo represents the worst that capitalism has to offer. Best solution: let the free market decide. When people decide to stop paying a gazillion dollars for end of life care - I saw it first hand with my dad in the last 4 months of his life - chained to machines at the end - then prices will fall. Until then, it's MOTS -more of the same. Keep your own health in order and ALWAYS look for alternative remedies and treatments.

There. I just solved the health care "crisis".
My, my, sure sounds like you are a bitter Socialist. Lets go back a few years when people were only living to their 70s at the most. Now people are living well into their 90s because of the worst in capitalism. But again, if we didnt have 10s of millions of diseased illegal aliens going to the ERs and getting free shit, then those that pay, MUST pick up the bill or the Hospital goes bankrupt. Maybe college professors should work for free, then education would be free then, right?and the status quo represents the worst that capitalism has to offer.
Not because there is some untapped middle ground.
Try again.
