The Age of Civil Rights Liberalism is over, but civil rights has gone nowhere, you hear? I don't think, until the science is clearer, that persons boys should play in girl sports. And I believe that no one should ever be denied rights and opportunity because of race, religion, ethnicity, etc.

The Republic into which I was born is now gone. We will become a one-party Majority State, but we the voters still have the right to fight back against the billionaires and bad people in the voter's booth. And I think sanity will prevail.

Today looks like the 6 conservative justice owned by billionaires wants to take that away.

They want to take away the right of blacks to vote?

Link?

He knows better…he’s just parroting MSNow.

All SCOTUS said was that you can’t form a district that is made up of only black voters…That’s racism.

If 86 million wanted what you’re selling, how come you lost all three branches in 24? You’re living in delusion.
86 million did not want what Trump is doing either. You don't get that in your state of MAGAT psychosis. You miss the millions constantly protesting this administration daily. Without cheating, you guys are about to get wiped out in the fall. But we see Republicans quickly trying to change the rules hoping that will keep them in power. That is what fascists do. You are a fascist, and if Republicans do the cheating that is expected, all hell is going to break loose. Nobody wants the bullshit you guys are pulling. You are the one living in delusion MAGAT.

Incorrect. And white is a race.

Do you white MAGATS not realize that the only people whining and playing the victim are you?

Incorrect. And white is a race.
"Today’s decision should largely put an end to this 'disastrous misadventure' in voting-rights jurisprudence," Thomas wrote, quoting himself from a 1994 concurrence.

Thomas argued the high court's prior interpretations of section two of the Voting Rights Act have encouraged states to engage in discriminatory race-based map drawing. He said the text of section two covers access to ballots and voting procedures, not how states draw district lines, and that it should therefore not be used in lawsuits about maps.

Thomas, an appointee of President George H. W. Bush, has long advocated gutting the Voting Rights Act provision. The conservative justice, the second Black justice in history after Justice Thurgood Marshall, said in the 1994 case, Holder v. Hall, that people who use section two of the law to claim redrawn districts have diluted racial minorities' votes are reading it incorrectly.

"The assumptions upon which our vote dilution decisions have been based should be repugnant to any nation that strives for the ideal of a color blind Constitution," Thomas wrote at the time.

And he’s correct, victim

The only people obsessing over the GARBAGE you refer to are right-wing misinformed MAGATS, and you are nowhere near the majority of Americans.
Not a majority, but at the time, enough of a number to sway the margins. But as you have observed, those numbers are declining. The hardcore, they are so insulated they can't see it. But at this point, the people are getting outright vocal about their discontent.

The 86 million who did not vote are learning that their non-participation helped create this problem, and they most certainly do not want to see any more of it. Because Republicans in Congress have been complicit because they have not checked the president, many of them will be removed.

Thomas is not correct, and THE ONLY REASON his black --- is a SCOTUS justice because of the very things he opposes today. The only people who believe he is correct are the lowest whites such as you, psychosis-riddled MAGAT white victim.

"The assumptions upon which our vote dilution decisions have been based should be repugnant to any nation that strives for the ideal of a color blind Constitution"
The Constitution was not colorblind when it was created. The damage created by the racism that has been allowed by the constitution has not been fixed, and color-coded laws benefiting whites for most of 250 years will not be fixed without considering color. You whites on the right know this. This has never been about colorblindness, it's about making sure white preferential treatment is maintained by the force of law.

That is not what they said. The law said that you cannot ignore the dynamics of a predominantly minority majority population.

LOL...You're the one whining that a district can't be drawn as an all black district you dumbass....I'm not the victim, I'm the one laughing at your temper tantrums...

Justice Thomas is far more qualified to comment on that than you are, an anonymous internet poster that blames racism for your own failures in life....Do better.

Those billionaires are on all sides. This is not 1966. The supreme court did not take away the right to vote spewed in a vile way from your propagandists. It declared that having pure African American voting districts was not constitutional.

I'm not whining about anything. All this is about whining whites on the right have been doing about something that isn't happening to them.

You ae an anonymous white --- posting on the internet that blames non-whites for your own failures.

I am qualified to say that Clarence Thomas is wrong. MAGATS are the ones whining about failing in life. That would be you, white loser. You MAGATS whine about imaginary anti-white racism to blame for your failure to succeed in an environment created based on white racial preference. I've done better than you, white loser. So you do better, white ---.
