Israeli politician carves stones to build Third Temple

A video was posted on social media showing former Knesset member Moshe Feiglin near the town of Eli carving stones for the Third Temple.

โ€œThis was a very moving experience for me,โ€ Feiglin told Israel365 News. Feiglin recited a special prayer before taking up a hammer and chisel to carve a large stone. The prayer asked that just as we carve the stones to serve God, He should form us to serve Him. And that just as the stones will be steadfast in the service of God, so should we be steadfast in our unity and love of our fellow man.

โ€œWe are in a very special generation,โ€ he added at the end.

This is part of an ongoing project in which the stones are stored for future use.

He referred to a popular song by Israeli composer Naomi Shemer:

โ€œIf on the mountain you hewed stone to erect a new structure
Not in vain, my brother, did you hew for a new structure

From these stones will be built the Mikdash.

โ€œThe Mikdash will be built, will be built, will be built.โ€

โ€œIf on the mountain you planted cedars, cedars in the place of thistles
Not in vain, my brother did you plant in the place of thistles
From these cedars will be built the Mount.โ€

I have a hypothetical question for all those supporting Israel. Itโ€™s been stated by some in independent media that the death toll in Gaza is far higher than whatโ€™s been reported. So hypothetically, if the number of casualties in Gaza is actually 500,000, do you still support Israel?

Looks like "Most of todayโ€™s Jewish and Arabic-speaking populations share a strong genetic link to the ancient Canaanites, according to a new study conducted by an international team of archaeologists and geneticists," so if you want to say that "Palestinian" Arabs are from Canaanites, then so are "most" of today's Jews.
The fact is there some physical basis for arguing that a large segment of the population of Palestine are descended from Canaanites. You can interpret that evidence differently if you want, that's a common tactic among Zionists.

Yes I've read that article before and why are you surprised that many "Jews" seem to share ancestry with those Canaanites? Jews began in Canaan (after Abraham migrated there from Ur) and populations mix, inter marry, have extra-marital affairs, multiple wives, harems and so on.

The point is here (the reason I mentioned all this) is to show that the evidence - both the genetic and historic record - is that the population of Palestine prior to mass immigration of Diaspora Jews after WW2, were descendants of Canaanites and the Canaanites were dwelling in the Levant at least 600 years before the first Jew was even born.

Therefore there's no real argument that can be made that supports the claim "The land belongs to the Jews", I mean you can try, you can hand wave, you can use smoke and mirrors and made up nonsense to pretend there's an argument but that's not how I make decisions.

Finally even if it was true even if the evidence was that Jews were there first that doesn't amount to anything in the real world. No international body like the UN for example, ever uses such claims as the basis for settling territorial disputes, it just doesn't happen.

If the following is true, do you still support Israelโ€™s military action in Gaza?

I disagree, I'm not sure how he can overlook the Jew's own historic record here. I would say that the land was the first home of the Jews, but that does not mean that the Jews were the first people to dwell there.

The first Jews born in the region, some 600 years after Abraham mad emigrated there from Ur.

We know there were Canaanites dwelling there when Abraham arrived, we know he purchased a tomb from them too.

The facts are clear, the land was already occupied at least 600 years before the first Jew was born there.

Arab imperialists have that to spare, why not a gazillion...

Doesn't come even close to Francesa Albenis' lies a year ago,
so how will you extort sympathy from people fighting an existential war?

Why not a gazillion, Arab imperialist have all to spare.

Or keep asking trying to extort sympathy from people fighting an existential war?

You omitted the United States onslaught in the first Gulf "War" in which hundreds of thousands have died including children and babies from the impact of sanctions.

The fact is there some physical basis for arguing that a large segment of the population of Palestine are descended from Canaanites. You can interpret that evidence differently if you want, that's a common tactic among Zionists.
You can interpret the evidence any way that suits your narrative -- that's a common tactic among desperate people arguing against Israel's legitimacy.
Yes I've read that article before and why are you surprised that many "Jews"
I'm not surprised. Why did you put the word Jews in quotes?
The point is here (the reason I mentioned all this) is to show that the evidence - both the genetic and historic record - is that the population of Palestine prior to mass immigration of Diaspora Jews after WW2, were descendants of Canaanites and the Canaanites were dwelling in the Levant before the first Jew was even born.
There were Jews there before the mass migration of Arabs from the Arabian peninsula and the Greek islands.
Therefore there's no real argument that can be made that supports the claim "The land belongs to the Jews", I mean you can try, you can hand wave, you can use smoke and mirrors and made up nonsense to pretend there's an argument but that's not how I make decisions.
So your argument is that the land belongs to Arabs because they are descended from Canaanites (which is not a clear cut and provable claim) but it doesn't belong to Jews who are also "descended" from Canaanites. For some reason, the lineage of one group trumps the other even though they are the same. You have spent a while making up all sorts of things, speaking out of ignorance and making unsupported claims. Why should your approach here be any different?
Finally even if it was true even if the evidence was that Jews were there first that doesn't amount to anything in the real world. No international body like the UN for example, ever uses such claims as the basis for settling territorial disputes, it just doesn't happen.
Great -- so let's take out any claim to "being there first". The UN accepts that Israel exists and that it has land. International law establishes that Israel is there and no other sovereign nation lays claim to the land. Thus endeth the lesson.

Rova Media embraces Zionism, it is not an impartial party.

You omitted the United States onslaught in the first Gulf "War" in which hundreds of thousands have died including children and babies from the impact of sanctions.

Now,

let's use that logic -

you embrace Arab imperialism, what does make you?
