Israel expands its borders to include part of Lebanon (3.24.26)

At the 1:15 mark the narrator reveals that the area being described is in "ancient Judea".

Indeed, the Maccabees extended the rule of Judea all the way to the north.

Apparently semantics don't decide the course of history,
at least not as the decisions of the royal tribe.

as much as the decisions of the royal tribe.
Can you show the new map?

The Hasmonean dynasty was just a 70-year blip in the history of the Jews and their territory is absent from maps of the period in question.

So, do todays Jews have a territorial claim to the lands outside of Judea that the Maccabee's occupied?

They're everywhere. You can't sling a stone without hitting an Arab. The question is why are the Jews occupying land that was not their ancestral homeland?
What a strange hypocrisy. Arabs are everywhere. Shrug. But Jews must be contained by the most stringent of (fabricated) rules.

This is just another attempt to disenfranchise the Jewish people from their ancestral homeland and history.
