Rabbi Lau on PM David Ben-Gurion's Torah study
Addressing the myth about the so-called "secular" Zionist revolutionaries.
Did You know that the mandatory Torah study in Israeli public schools,
as well as exempts for Yeshivah studies, were legislated by Mapai,
the Israeli workers party? Tracking the land with a pocket Bible,
was fundamental value to the courageous Kibbutz founders.
Who are the people making 'Aliyah this summer?

Despite conflict, scores of Jews move to Israel
Despite the ongoing war and lack of safety, a new wave of Jews from the US and France choose to make aliyah, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the State of Israel.www.jpost.com
Why did you change the text when you copied it to your post? That's quite dishonest.Basic principles
- 1.a The Land of Israel is the historical homeland of the White People, in which the State of Israel was established.
- 1.b The State of Israel is the nation state of the White People in which it realizes its natural, cultural, religious and historical right to self-determination.
- 1.c The realization of the right to national self determination in the State of Israel is exclusive to the White People.
Are you OK with these principles?
You wrote "if you think "Jew" is a religion you are mistaken"I never disputed that Judaism is a religion, if you think I did then please quote where I said that.
except it isn't preferential to Jews. It is preferential to israeli citizens and anyone can get Israeli citizenship. The fact that Palestinians aren't citizens of Israel is simply a fact, much like the fact that Canadian aren't American citizens.Well roads become "Jew only" when the implementation of access to them is preferential to Jews, which it will be if citizenship and other rights are given to Jews preferentially over Palestinians.

Antisemitism Then and Now
The statement was that if I think "Jew" is a religion I am mistaken. Is your argument about the part of speech, in that "Jew" means a person who is Jewish and not the religion itself. If so, then bringin up "Jew" is bringing up religion as it references the person who is Jewish, that is a member of the religion of Judaism. That's a true statement, again I never claimed Judaism was not a religion.
So you, deciding that the laws are racist reworded it based on your beliefs. Nice that you admittede here that you changed it. You didn't say that when you first presented them.Racism is inherent in the country's Basic Laws this racism is by design and designed to disadvantage non-Jews, here's the paraphrased Basic Principles with "Jew" replaced with "White Man"
Those aren't Israel's principles so why would your invention matter in reality?Under these principles would you argue that white people and black people are being treated equally?

Your statement was "if you think "Jew" is a religion you are mistaken"You seem confused now, please quote a complete sentence of mine that's confusing you and I'll be happy to explain/clarify.
So you put your own beliefs above the actual text. Got it.Yes i decide if some policy or rule is racist, based on my beliefs, I always have done so ever since I learned about racism, colonialism and so on.
Your statement was "if you think "Jew" is a religion you are mistaken"
Are you simply commenting on the fact that Jew, as a noun, means a member of Judaism, and not the religion itself?
So you put your own beliefs above the actual text. Got it.
Jew does mean "member of Judaism." The fact that Judaism is a theological construct with a genetic element doesn't change anything. And it doesn't matter what a person does as practice -- being a Jew, that is, a member of the religion of Judaism, is a status which doesn't change. You really should quit while you are behind.Jew does not mean "member of Judaism". Conventionally one is a Jew if one's mother was a Jew, not religion, theology involved, no choice or decision making involved, there are other ways too but this proves that not all Jews practice or adopt or embrace or believe Judaism.
If you replace things to create something new and completely unrelated to Israel, then who cares about it? Since it is unrelated and you can't extrapolate anything from your invention to apply elsewhere, there is no value to it. You also clearly don't understand the difference between the origin and nature of a place and the conferring of rights on all citizens in practice.Right, so having accepted that these actually are the Knesset's own statement of the "basic principles" answer my question that if we replace "Jew" with "White" as I did in my example, then is that principle racist or egalitarian?

an authoritative text? Which authority are you interested in?Please show me some authoritative text that says "A Jew is a member of Judaism" then, can you do that at least?
Why would I care about what you worded? Answering an irrelevant hypothetical isn't a great use of my time. You never answered my question. Is the modified text that I posted, racist or egalitarian? as worded by me, is it racist or egalitarian?

those aren't ANY principles. Those are inventions and uninteresting to me. Meanwhile, you skipped over the question of what authority you are looking for to define "Jew."So you simply cannot bring yourself to publicly admit that these are racist principles:

You are incapable of speaking honestly, that these are racist principles because they are clearly racist - do you disagree?

See, this is the problem. You created something that doesn't exist in Israel, based on your own interpretation (and ignorance) and have drawn conclusions based on your invention. This is much like your taking the words of Btselem and rewording them based on your own inventions. Valueless.Yes I did skip over the question, call me old fashioned but I generally like to see questions answered in the order they are asked. But its clear you do not want to answer and I know why, it is pretty clear that Zionist Israel is a racist state and racism underpins much of the society.
In your fantasy world of made up statements and your personal interpretations, things are what they are. In reality, they aren't. You should join reality -- a place where people make statements based on knowledge and not fanciful miswordings. Good luck joining reality.I get it. it's hard defending racism and xenophobia sometimes, but Nazinyahu does it so I'm sure you can too.
