So don't say if you had a kid you would push him into skilled trades. But everything else you said, all sounds good to me.

I got a communications degree. What am I going to do with that? Well, I always knew I wanted to go into sales. A lot of corporations require a degree. So at first I tried to get a major in business, but I struggled to get through the business level 1 classes. To get a major in business I would have to take stats 2, accounting 2, finance 2, economics 2, **** THAT! So I minored in business and got a communications major. I got a lot of jobs that I couldn't have got without a college degree. Even a History major gets your foot in the door at a lot of companies. The HR people insist. Is it a racket? Sure but since I spent the time and money to play the game, I sort of like it.

Hey, haven't professors gotten fucked the last 30 years? You guys used to make over $100k working part time and you had side gigs. I heard years ago being a college professor isn't what it used to be. This is what has happened to America. I know for sure public school teachers K-12 don't make what they once did.
