White House inadvertently texted top-secret Yemen war plans to journalist

As a very old person I have watched all the dysfunction happen. So this is no big deal as it's just a part of this country. It's given me many a great laugh. It's like a sitcom.

Not a war. A military strike on an independent nation.
What is under international law, "an act of war".
(no article 51 exception)
Actually it was against terrorist that attacked us. Not a independent nation. You seem very confused

She did, the Obama admin disagreed with her claim though. Has the Trump admin disagreed with the intel officials?
There hasn’t been an impartial investigation, and probably won’t be.

Yeah. The Clintons had Secret Service agents burning documents. The FBI destroying evidence.

Dead end you say.
Oh yea….

The same old, we could not find anything so you must have destroyed the evidence

Good , punish those responsible. However, didn't the Atlantic break the law also? If they knew this might have been a classified meeting, doesn't him copying the transcript constitute a breach of the law?
I figured Republicans would blame the Atlantic on this

If you are going to discuss an air strike, find. sciff and verify who is on the chat

What we do know, at this point moving forward, after the congressional hearing yesterday, is there is zero accountability and no honesty forthcoming from this administration. This will worsen in the coming months, where they actively seek to silence the voices who expose them.

A bunch of drunken frat boys are running the government, all answering to a President uniquely unqualified for the position.

So? What is the harm in that? The Houthis were not privy to the conversation as they still use camel dung to cook with!

Pentagon acknowledges Hegseth shared information in Signal chat while Yemen operation was underway

From CNN's Natasha Bertrand
The Pentagon’s chief spokesperson Sean Parnell acknowledged on Wednesday that Defense Secretary Hegseth shared information on the US military’s strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen on a group chat on Signal while the operation was underway.

A defense official earlier told CNN that those details were classified at the time of the operation precisely because their disclosure could put service members at risk.

Well the Info was published, we can see it’s not classified. It’s a chat between people discussing real time events

Not classified, the entire world saw the bombing happen. It’s not a secret

The accountability will come when we find out how Goldberg hacked his way into the conversation and who helped him do it.... Musk and Big Balls are on the case...

Yes so? The pentagon, what he heads, acknowledged he shared real time information with other members of the admin? Wow…we all saw it on TV too. The attack wasn’t a secret.

Actually an attack is secret while it is going on
A reporter with the Atlantic is not a member of the admin
He is the only one who acted responsibly

How is it secret while it's going on? They are literally bombs going off, it's pretty loud

I agree with your second point, but nobody intended that he be on it, that's not who he was intending to share it with. Now if your claim is, that the SecDef intended to share the information, then what's the big deal? He certainly can, why are we even making this an issue?

Well, I don't know about that, if I am somehow included on a email or chat that I know I am not suppose to be on, I typically politely excuse myself, not take the info and run with it. Particularly, if I think that information could harm our national security. One has to think the reporter realized this real time info, wouldn't harm national security if he wrote about it, because it wasn't classified information
