White House Correspondents Dinner

Bush and Iraq was way more than WMD. It was framed to be all about that by media. Democrat opportunity.
Israel has not been preaching ‘death to America’ for the past 47 years. Israel did not plant IED’s in Iraq.
Civilized countries with nukes don’t promise their use. The psychotic criminal regime in Iran would.
Iran was responsible for most of the IEDs in Iraq. They were.

Very very different from my past experiences I never wish to relive....
Green beans almost got me killed....well....it was the tongs in the pan of them but still....

Look, security for Trump is a joke by comparison to past presidents.

Getting close enough with weapons to even start a sprint.
Getting more than 5 steps sprinting
Agent had issues pulling out his weapon (totally not smooth or efficient)
Agents were looking everywhere but assignment....being bored instead of vigilant and completely caught off guard.

Being around in a public venue and not having ID on a lanyard around your neck? How does this happen? (Only way you can be in the same building as the President is in...you get shot otherwise)

Plus more things going on than this.....
It's a dinner, not a ******* convention.

We need a whole new SS team.....

Watching this I see at least 3 disasters in Security taken advantage of.
If I was Secret Service I'd be embarrassed to have it on my resume/CV.

Blame democrats for blacking their pay.

Trump is not the villain here. We the People are.

Our Republic can only serve a JUST AND MORAL PEOPLE -- it can serve no other.

At some point, as a Christian, your focus should be on THE KING and His KINGDOM. Not your "rights."

Freedom comes with SUBMISSION TO GOD, not at the voting booth.

Wait.........what?

I mean, yea, We The People voted for Trump, so yea, you are kind of right. Sort of.

I still have mixed feelings about this. On one hand Trump has a point of securing our nation's security, but on the other hand it violates people's privacy and doesn't it violate the 4th amendment?

I'm only telling you HOW this will all play out. All the ancient philosophers tell us a "democracy" has a lifespan of about 200 years. There are reasons for that. WE ARE THERE.

I know what you're saying. That's how our country was founded.
But for the grace of God go we.
Giving the government powers that go against the 4th amendment is not good.
There's a worldwide conspiracy to make everywhere a surveillance state with social credit scores. That's not freedom, not at all. :nono:
Innovation will go to almost nil everywhere if it gets like that.

I'm not entirely certain what your message is here. Are you saying that our rights should take backseat to Palantir and FISA and that we should submit to whomever the current Caesar may be?

Would you have the same sentiment if Biden was still the President?

I don't agree with your choice to go "RINO" on us but I fully agree with this post.

You never heard the story of the French invasion armada that sank in a hurricane, huh?

One ship got blown up when lightning struck their gunpowder.
God don't play. :nono:

It's interesting to observe how the powerful react in stressful and potentially life-threatening situations.

In this two-minute video, you can see several leaders right after Trump was rushed off stage...

  • Stephen Miller hugging his very pregnant wife, Katie.
  • RFK Jr. sitting upright, appearing calm.
  • Pete Hegseth escorts his wife out with secret service rather far away (1:20).
  • John Fetterman standing up tall like a big target, calm as can be

Currently we have those on BOTH sides who will oppress the masses if allowed free reign. Currently we are trying to recover from the Liberal's oppression after having control. .
But the hate rhetoric is over the top.

If the Republicans gain control it will be more banking corruption and stock market failures. The conglomerates creating a worse company store situation. (They have one now)
I do not see any rationale. Will you elaborate as to what you know that you used to form your opinion? At the moment, I do not locate any facts. (the dark letters)

The Republicans at the moment do have control. Speak please about banking corruption and why you lay the blame on Republicans for instance.

But this was NOT a Whitehouse function or event? It was a Correspondence dinner for Whitehouse journalists and charity. The president may or may not, choose to go. He did not attend at all during his first 4 years as President and he did not attend his first year back in office. As president, this is his first year, out of the 6 times the event occurred while president, he chose to attend.

The ballroom being built has nothing to do with this event.
True the partly finished ballroom has nothing to do with the correspondence dinner, but since normally the president and others on his team normally show up, and Trump is building it for no cost to the taxpayer, a logical place to hold them, is in the Ballroom when finished.

Sort of my point. The American people should reject despots and enemies of the Constitution -- whether foreign or domestic.

Really??? It sounds like you and I are starting to understand each other again. You see the difference between me and progressive liberals is I don't bash Trump for every little thing. I give him credit where and when credit is due and at times like this I question his judgement. The bottom line is that I love my country and I just want it protected and what's best for it. I don't totally agree with Trump one hundred percent all of the time, but I also believe that he's currently what's best for our country.

We voted for Campaign Trump. We were delivered a faulty bill of goods.
What did Democrats offer? Are you pleased with their faulty bill of goods? How pleased are you that Democrats blocked some important areas of Government being paid?
