You & me KNOW this but Trump's base of support is TOO STUPID to understand this: The (previous) tax cuts & this new round of tax cuts will benefit the 'GOP donor class' i.e. the wealthiest 0.001% of individuals, and corporations.
This is creating MORE wealth for the wealthiest people & the ultra wealthy corporations.
This is also creating an even greater 'income inequality' which was happening just before the Great Depression.
As you stated, this is also creating larger government deficits & at a greater rate.
Trump's base wanted a POTUS that would 'drain the swamp' and destroy government.
Well, it sure looks like they will be getting more than they wished for.
When this whole mess goes south, like it did in the final months of G. W. Bush, and it will go south, again, there will be NO magic bullets left for The FED, nor for the US.
We will become a nation that will be financially destroyed. We will once again have the GOP to thank for this.
When you drain something you have to pull the plug to open the drain. Trump is draining the financial life out of the working class, the working poor, and the poor. Once these vampires have drained what they want & have transferred the wealth 'up' to the wealthiest, watch for a crash so YUGE it will make 2008 look like a very small sneeze. The pain for the average American will be immense.
