It'll depend on what they think they have on the Insurrection.

The Georgia election tampering couldn't be more obvious. He's recorded doing it. Sounds like they're going a little broader, though, possibly making it closer to a RICO case with other defendants.

But either way, they'll have to prove it to juries that will almost certainly have at least one True Believer, so I'm not expecting convictions.

It would be interesting, though. No doubt some interesting stuff would come out. Hopefully this will deter future similar behaviors.

• Pressuring the GA election official to lie and cheat and illegally change the results of a free and fair election- There is no law that says you can't talk to election officials about the election. No pressure was exerted on them other than asking them to be fair in counting ballots
• Illegally mishandling ultra top secret documents- There is no "ULTRA TOP SECRET" classification. Not to mention the fact that the FBI has already admitted that there were no TS docs at Mara-Lago. They were declassified docs that they tried to re-classify after the fact.
• Inciting a riot at the Capitol- Trump didn't incite a riot. The Capital Police incited a riot by shooting tear gas and stun grenades into a peaceful crowd just when they were about to leave. Then they murdered a couple of the people that they had invited into the Capital and apparently took on a sightseeing tour.
• Illegally trying to overturn the 2020 election results- According to the law a presidential candidate has a right to explore every legal recourse before the election is certified. Senators can object to the certification on the grounds that the election was illegal or fake.
• Numerous campaign finance crimes- This is a novel opinion that has no precedence in the law. Campaign finance crimes aren't felonies. They normally result in a fine, nothing more.
• Trump Organization illegal tax fraud scheme- The IRS has had Trump's taxes from years and found nothing. This is just piling on by the shitforbrains who made all of the other claims.

MANHATTAN: Will ultimately be tossed out. The best the prosecutors can hope for is to get Trump on trial in front of a dozen brain-dead New Yawkas, get him convicted, and have it overturned on appeal. Which it certainly would be. It probably will never get to trial.

GEORGIA: Easily defendable. Very similar to the Ukraine phone call case, actually. He asked the governor to "find" some votes. He did not ask the Governor to CREATE some votes. Big difference. How many times have we heard of an election that was all but over, and then someone goes out and finds a bag of ballots that was misplaced at the post office or wherever. That's all Trump was asking for. Check every place where some ballots might have been misplaced. End of case.

MAR-A-LAGO: No real case here. The President had the power to declassify anything he wanted to, merely by deciding that they should be de-classified. Any sane court would rule that merely by taking them home, he was implicitly declassifying them, and the fact that they were still in folders with classified markings was irrelevant.

JANUARY 6TH: Get serious. No case at all here. Trump did nothing more than any Democrat would have done under the same circumstances.

In fact, none of this is serious prosecution. It is all part of a Leftist campaign to ensure that Trump cannot win in 2024. Seriously, if you can't see that you are likely suffering from TDS.
