If they were concerned about what Jesus said, "Sell all you have and give to the poor", there wouldn't be any poverty.

Ever heard of Helena Blavatsky? She founded Theosophy in 1875 and is considered the Mother of Modern Spirituality. Lot's of good YouTube documentaries about her.

well kinda...the mormons have the largest welfare system outside the U.S. government.
on the other hand they rarely help anyone else but other mormons.

A lover of this world cannot sell his worldly possessions and give to the poor. Only saints were made to do this before we preach the gospel.
