When Biden extended the Trump Tariffs on China and raised them a lot, up to 100 percent, who won that battle?

The relevance of this question leaves me in doubt of your post. Whatever Biden did has no bearing on what Trump did or does. The tariff escalation that could happen night end up harmful to everybody, not just the US. And for what? The imbalance of trade will not be affected that much when all is said and done.

We did not notice our collapse when Biden jacked up super high tariffs on China. What is different now? Democrats seem to pretend Biden did not jack up tariffs.

I do not have the numbers for the Balance of Trade over say the past 10 years, but I would surmise that the Trump tariffs didn't really move the needle and neither did Biden's decision to leave them in place. I don't know, did Biden increase the tariffs, and to what effect? I do know that American soybean farmers got hit hard when China retaliated against Trump's tariffs enough to where they received subsidizes amounting to around $20 billion.

So now, Trump is substantially raising tariffs even higher, and I am somewhat concerned. There will be a blowback, and so while there are benefits for some people, there will be adverse consequences for others and I'm talking about US businesses and consumers. Plus, the uncertainty of what's going to happen can dampen business investments, for startups and also expansions.
