Which Of Trump's Policies Are You Against?

I want high taxes on the rich and low taxes on working class people.
Because? Do you understand that presently 40 percent of citizens do not pay federal income taxes?

That is fine with me. Nevertheless, the overall tax system is only mildly progressive,

What you say is true. It is also true of Republicans. For example, for decades public opinion surveys have indicated majority support for a more progressive tax system. Nevertheless, whenever Rpublicans have the power, they cut taxes for the rich.
They cut taxes for everyone who pays taxes. If we don't renew the 2017 tax law, millions of lower and middle income tax payers will have large tax increases.

it is describing a representative democracy. In a representative democcy citizens do not vote directly on laws. They vote directly for politicians who pass the laws.
It should say that then were it true. But when asked long ago It was declared a Republic if you can keep it.

By calling it representative, what you really tell the representatives is this. Sir, you are my person who will vote and you will vote as you please. I appoint you as the party to make decisions and I hereby forfeit my right to make decisions. You in effect set up a system of dictators.

Do you know what one of your most absolute rights is in the Constitution? It’s one that cannot be challenged in court–in fact, it’s a guarantee.
The Founding Fathers were not champions of democracy. It’s true that they were eager to shed a monarchical system that dated back hundreds of years, but they weren’t so comfortable with democracy–or what they saw as “mob rule”–either. So a republic it was. But how did we get to this place, a middle ground between absolutism and popular sovereignty? Learn more about this right enshrined in the Constitution…

The United States is a republic, as stated by article 4, section 2 of the U.S. Constitution:

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
This article is called the “guarantee clause” because it promises that the government of this country will always be a republic, elected by popular sovereignty and maintained by majority control. The core of popular sovereignty is free and fair elections, and the peaceful transition of power; this was begun by George Washington when he stepped down from the presidency after two terms in 1796, establishing an unwritten precedent that has been honored to this day.
During the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia between May and September 1787, the delegates argued long and hard about what form of government the new nation should take. The Articles of Confederation that had governed the United States after the Revolutionary War ended had created a very weak central government that had no power to manage trade, print a single currency, or pass or enforce laws that all the states would universally agree to. The result was a nation on the verge of collapse.
Despite our thoughts of them as stalwart champions of democracy, the Founding Fathers were an elite class—they feared mob rule and debated vigorously about how the new government should be structured. Most of them were utterly opposed to a direct democracy, in which the electorate determines policy themselves instead of having representatives (presumably wiser and better informed than they) do it for them. Our Founding Fathers, decidedly did not trust the masses to make the decisions that would steer the ship of state.

Has Trump implemented a dairy tariff against Canada? Has he accomplished anything to stop paying tariffs that he negotiated that aren't even paid?
Nice research, haha.
nothing directly from Tump's policy.
no specifics

Just your question that shows you have no idea what Trump is doing and why.
Your question shows you know nothing about our foreign trade and even less about Trump's policies

All you are doing is contradicting using the democrat opinion as formated as a, "news article" posted on democrat websites as found with a democrat search engine.

You won't read any official documents on policy.

All you do is present the opinion that lost the election as if that opinion is fact

It is actually a representative republic. Since you seem happy to define it your way, you must be very pleased with Trump and his management as the CEO.

You must be thrilled we elected Trump and the Republicans to Congress.

I am against his tariffs. That is a form of protectionism that favors some domestic industries at the expense of others when the retaliation comes. And worst of all is that in general it raises prices and lowers the standard of living for the poorest among us. There was a time when it was the democrats who favored tariffs and other forms of protectionism, and conservatives fought against it. Funny how some people are for something and then against it, and vice versa.

The distinction between a republic and a monarchy means little today. The distinction between a democracy and a dictatorship is important. Great Britain is a monarchy and a democracy. The Soviet Union was a republic and a dictatorship.

I suspect your support of Trump greatly exceeds mine.

Trump is what you have been telling me you want.
The citizens decided. This time it was both the electors and the public at large. We all wanted Trump and thankfully you now agree that he got there the right way.

Trump was not just going to let other countries slap tariffs on us. Don't think his was the only tariffs. We were already paying tariffs that you tell us you don't like or want.

Yeah, but Trump kinda upped the ante, no? He's increasing tariffs and other countries are increasing their tariffs on us, such that the end result is not as beneficial as one might think. The last time, Trump levied tariffs on Chinese stuff and they retaliated against our soybean farmers, such that Trump subsidized those farmers who lost a lot of money on their soybean crop that they couldn't sell. Something $20 billion I think, so it all a bed of roses.

What went wrong with the economy when Biden hiked up Tariffs against China that were up to 100% and on other items 50 percent? Was the Democrats whining then?

In other words, you can't answer the simple question I asked so you try to hide it with a wall of commentary.

Noted, elektra cannot clarify anything on US/Canada tariffs and what Trump has accomplished here.

to your word salad shit? hahahahahahahhaha maybe you can tell us why we should send our money to Ukraine. go~!
Desperate attempt to redirect noted. 4th and 10, and the intellectually challenged jc456 is forced to punt.
