I get the impression that "un-*******-believable" is more common than "unbe-*******-lievable". My preference is the latter as I believe that it allows for more significant emphasis on the '*******' portion. I also find that it rolls off of the tongue more easily.

I think both words are unbecoming, unless shouted in the bedroom....:redface:

Shoot! The second choice is supposed to be "un-*******-believable" (not "un-*******-lievable). Sorry.
