Mercury Grand Marquis (I'm on my third one).

I can fit 10 bags of mulch in the back seat, another 10 in the trunk. I can strap several sheets of plywood to the roof as well.

Needed a half ton truck for towing, so I really like the 2019 Tundra TRD OR 4x4 I bought last year. Made in Texas.

Still the reliable 5.7 V8 and 5 speed transmission.
Avoid the newer Gen 3 version with the problematic twin turbo 6 and multiple gear transmission. Avoid the newer Tacoma's too.

Doesn't matter the brand.
Every car I ever wrenched on I can find some fault with some stupid engineering design that makes a repair far more labor intensive than it needs to be. Newer cars are horrible for this shit.
Add all the sensors and shit and suddenly that $800 bumper replacement is actually several thousand now. Even some vehicles require the bumper to be removed to change a damn bulb.
Car Engineer's should be cast into Hell and forced to repair their shitty designs for eternity.

Signed, Broken Knuckles Guy.

Before all the mandated EPA shit that makes cars far more expensive than any damn tariffs, and far more costly to repair with far more technical failure points.
Everything post covid under every brand is under multiple recalls thanks to "technology".
ABS and electronic ignition/mixture control are the only two technological advancements I can think of that have been worth a shit...Everything else is just a money sucking maintenance nightmare.
