Dinétah.

Dinétah traditionally encompasses parts of northwestern New Mexico, southwestern Colorado, southeastern Utah, and northeastern Arizona, marked by sacred mountains that define its boundaries

My Father's Ancestors came from Switzerland. There is village about 30-Miles from Geneva with my family name. My Wife is a direct descendant of the Plymouth Colony John Carver

My home town is somewhere in SoCal. But now live in NoCal. I am an amateur genealogist and have researched my roots.

On my Dad's side the Emans come from Shropshire England. In the early 1700's the came to North Carolina and then made a 150 year-long sweeping arc through South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Arkansas and eventually Oklahoma. I have ancestors who fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War. By the 1930's they had moved to California like so many others to escape the Dust Bowl. Think Grapes of Wrath.

On my mom's side I'm pure Dutch. From Rotterdam originally, but so-called "Black Dutch" meaning probably of Spanish origin. They came to America later. in the 1840's. They landed in New Orleans, and slowly moved up the Mississippi. By the 1880's they were homesteading in Northwest Iowa, which still has a significant Dutch minority. They came to California in the 1940's to farm and work in the factories during WWII.

In the late 1950's my dad and mom met at a dance in San Bernardino. They married and created me - in a maternity hospital1/2 block from where I grew up. I followed the family tradition and moved to NoCal in the 1990's and married a beautiful 1st generation Chinese immigrant. We have a mixed-race daughter who must have cut in line multiple times when they were handing out brains, beauty, athletic ability and ambition - she's the whole package. She's a high school senior about to start college - I envy her and can only image where she will take the family tree next.

You are admitting that your Bio is Fake with no basis in Objective Reality, .
But where do you belong Subjectively ?

Do you see yourself as a big fat currant bun , for instance ?
Or ,more like the guy who advertises Michelin tyres ?

I have a client who believes he is a land bridge between two ocean islands .
Do you have those sort of dreams ?
