This isnt a complaint, but rather a discussion about where people think the line is. A thread was just deleted that had a video of a guy getting shot in the head. It was graphic as fuck and blood pours out of his head, but he actually survived.

So, where is the line? Is it any blood? What if its a video of someone who cuts their hand with a knife by accident while doing some wood carving?

What if someone gets shot in the leg? What if its a body cam video of a cop shooting a black guy (it would be unrealistic to think that there would be a thread about a white guy getting shot)?

How about a bomb going off in a town square, or something like the Boston bombing?

Where is the line for "graphic content"?

Sorry I missed that video, but I believe the mods will tell you that the line is SUBJECTIVE, up to the general discretion of the moderator to decide when something becomes too graphic.

Yeah, i assume its super subjective. I know for a fact that i can get away with posting a video of 3,000 people dying in the Twin Towers. Its interesting where people draw lines.

If the spoiler "feature" was not such a fuckin' potato "warned" content could be hidden.....Click at your own risk.
He did actually give a significantly strong warning to NOT click the link. In his own words to me "i warned you 5 times in the OP not to click". I told him, "if you tell me not to click, i click".

I handled that last one. It was posted in Zone 2 General Discussion, not even in the basement. Here is the USMB Board Rule that applied:

The operant part of that rule in this case was "morbid images are not permitted." This goes double up on the main board, as opposed to down in the basement. This was a particularly graphic morbid and gratuitous image video of a man being shot in the head by stupid accident. If that is what anybody is looking for, USMB is the wrong place to look and if you find some, somewhere, USMB is not the place to post it.

Ivanka's titties are fine, but Melanias titties will get you banned.

So you would say that anything other than a head shot is acceptable, or do you think there are other things that would cross the line? Im talking about violence, not porn or anything.

There are any number of gross morbid sights, several, I have seen first hand. Like porn, though, you know it when you see it.
