I don't understand what happened to the real Republicans after Trump changed the GOP to the Reform Party? Do they exist at least in the form of some minor party? Were they killed? Why did they disappear?

The GOP long ago rejected most things conservative. (And for all its merits, “libertarianism” is not a valid synonym for conservatism).

President Trump is an outlier. He is absolutely not a traditional “Republican” in the newer sense of that term. That’s a good thing. For those of us who prefer a conservative GOP, we like an infusion of fresh thinking. Trump didn’t simply ruffle the feathers of liberals and Democraps. He ruffled the feathers of the lackluster do-nothings of the GOP.

We saw how the establishment Republicans reacted. They may as well have been Democraps.

What the GOP urgently needs to help save our republic is more Trump. Not less.

that's ridiculous. I love Trump as much as any Trumper and maybe more but he is not my savior. I met HIM (THE Savior) a long time ago and I think I know the difference between soul salvation and nation salvation.. although they are linked since everyone knows that if you don't have a Christian-centered nation, you are on the way DOWN... think Roman Empire and etc.....

So I asked him “What did Trump change? “What did Trump do as president that was not in line with “real republicans” would want or would oppose?” Specifically, “what initiatives, policies or ideas did Trump impose or try to impose that are opposite of what conservatives or republicans might stand for?” ---- Rupol danced around the questions and you seem puzzled by them.

For example: Was wanting to expand domestic energy to become independent contra to GOP? Was building a wall and closing the southern border? Was being pro-life and wanting school choice? How about lowering the unemployment of blacks and minorities? Or moving the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem? How about pleading with US corporations to get of China and move many of their industries back to the states? How about building up the readiness and morale of the military? How about dismantling a plethora of choking green regulations on US industries so they can compete with cheap subsidized foreign products? Etc., etc., etc.
