Trader Joe’s got a good thing going with banana pudding ice cream! Perfect amount of vanilla wafers too.

Not all ice cream is created equal. Decades ago in popular American brands of ice cream, to save money they started using less cream and more sugar.

I wish I had known this 30 minutes ago, I literally ate a bagel then :(

This doesn't surprise me because of ice cream being a milk product.

God bless you always!!!

We have made our own Ice Cream for at least a year now... with a Whynter 2 Qt maker. (Highly recommend)
The base for most non fruit ice cream is pretty simple:
2 cups whole cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanila
1/8 tsp salt

Nutrition Facts:

Probably the serving size is how they arrived to a ridiculous claim that ice cream is better for you than a bagel.
Most people will eat about 1.5 cups of ice cream. I am betting they didn't use nowhere near that in their claim.

Bagels not being very healthy for you even before you add anything to the top has been known for awhile.

They look healthy enough. Throw some lox and cream cheese and you get some protein and dairy in your meal...

high in carbs, high in sugar, can be high in salt and calories before the add-ons.

The hero of an old Woodie Allen movie, who was transported to the future, claimed that everything we thought was unhealthy would turn out to be healthy and vice versa.
