Well I don't really see that, as I said the context (which is elaborated in that article - and others) show that Biden "created" about 750,000 manufacturing jobs during his term, contrast what Trump says with that, not with the numbers from Biden's last year alone. So they numbers are not encouraging, at least I'd need to see what underpins that claim, should we compare the number of manufacturing jobs created during the first 45 days of each administration over the years? because unless one does that one is not doing a meaningful assessment of the numbers.

Why not simply compare Biden/Trump on the numbers for their first terms? Biden - +750,000 and Trump -200,000.

I do suspect that the numbers spouted by Trump are largely unattributable to trump, it's obvious that the creation of thousands of manufacturing jobs (and he refers only to auto manufacturing jobs by the way) requires months of strategizing, investment, planning and preparation so it's pretty clear to me that these are - at best - loosely coupled to anything trump has done this year and are the result of prior months of preparation.

Perhaps. Or perhaps industry is anticipating his policies. Time will tell.

The good fortunes of 9,000 people that's probably nothing to do with trump pales in significance to the loss of jobs under trump in just a few weeks, USPS alone is destined to lose 10,000 jobs and that is directly a result of trump's polices as we all know.
