Well, anyway, their relationship was abusive and he didn't make good on his promises to marry her. She decided to up the ante by "forgetting" to take her birth control pills and got pregnant. When he wouldn't make good on his promises to marry her... she got an abortion. Why? Because she didn't want her religious, traditionalist parents to know she wasn't still a virgin at 22.

A year later, she got back with the same guy... got pregnant again. Got another abortion.
