There is no "far left idiocy" in the USA. American Democrats are further to the right of every liberal government in the free world. Every first world nation but yours has:

• universal, government funded health care
• universal public education which is equally funded, and not tied to property taxes
• mandated worker vacations
• mandated maternity leaves
• a strong social safety net - yours in the weakest in the first world
• a woman's right to proper medical care when pregnant
• restrictions on gun ownership.

As a result, all of the G7 nations have lower rates of poverty, higher income, longer life spans, less violent crime, including lower murder rates.
