When Trump visits Mt. Rushmore it is RACIST, when Obama campaigned there it was MAJESTIC.

CNN Praised Mt. Rushmore When Obama Visited; Attacks When Trump Visits

CNN described Mount Rushmore as a “monument of two slave owners” on “land wrestled [sic] away from Native Americans” ahead of President Donald Trump’s visit there on Friday.

But in 2008, CNN marveled at the landmark when then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) visited Rushmore on the campaign trail.

In 2008, CNN anchor Ron Marciano said: “Barack Obama is campaigning in South Dakota. That state’s primary is Tuesday. Obama arrived there late last night and got a good look around Mt. Rushmore — it’s quite a sight if you haven’t seen it.”

Fellow anchor Betty Nguyen added: “Barack Obama is in South Dakota today. He arrived there last night. Take a look at this. He got a good glimpse of the majestic Mount Rushmore. Well, South Dakota and Montana have closed out the primary season on Tuesday.”

But on Friday, CNN described Rushmore in less glowing terms.

Senior Washington correspondent Joe Johns said:

[A]t a time of racial unease, when protesters are tearing down statues of slaveholders and calling for the names of Confederate generals to be removed from army bases, the Rushmore event is a reminder that Trump is fighting to preserve these relics of heritage and history that some see as symbols of oppression. And to indigenous people, Mt. Rushmore, with four white presidents, two of whom were slave owners, is one of those symbols.

Hey Glowworm, why don't you turn Bart around so we can see your face! Nothing was stolen just because a few neolithic primatives parked a few teepees in the area chasing horses. The land was conquered and settled by western civilization.

If anyone missed it, here's part of Trump's great event, the action starts about 30-40 minutes in.

While it's great to glorify our great country why not speak of its sins ? Trump is one of them
WTF are you whining about? The democrats and their mob rioters are the criminals, not Trump.
The US has no "sins",
While it's great to glorify our great country why not speak of its sins ? Trump is one of them
The only sin in this thread is the double standard the MSM has between Trump and Obama.
The liars and fake news outlets need to do penance.

They have no pride, they are on all out destroy America at all costs mode.

As is Mount Rushmore. A property not just belonging to the native americans, but was recognized in the peace treaty ending hostilities with the united states.

But as the USSC recognized in 1980, that the US illegally broke the treaty, and that the land was rightfully native american property.

Despite recognizing the rightful ownership, the USSC wouldn't go so far as to making the US return it.

B,b,b,bu bu but it's in the black hills of South Dakota. Doesn't that mean something? Obama was a black president.

And before the Custer came there was a shitload of awesome rock carvings anyways, according to preservationists and TDS afflicted morons.

for example the thunderbird

Note the awesome detail and realism.

It makes Borglum's work look like the unsophisticated scrawlings of a bored 8 year old child.

Nothing was stolen just because a few neolithic primatives parked a few teepees in the area chasing horses. The land was conquered and settled by western civilization.

Actually it was stolen because it was declared native american territory in perpetuity under a treaty with the united states.

It would be like Russia deciding to take back Alaska.

The American Press is drowning in Yellow Journalism and they can never be trusted

The native americans had their ownership confirmed by the USSC in 1980.
We now they have lost it. Squatters rights.

They can fuck off. Go run a casino.
It was a treaty, what the Constitution called the supreme law of the land. I can see you do not believe in "rule of law" since you believe in spitting on the constitution if it makes you feel good.

Maybe you can blame Andrew Jackson and his trail of tears. Of course without the White man coming to America, they would still be riding horses, preying on other indian tribes, enslaving the women and children. I bet you relish that idea dont you?
