I've been trying to compile a list of links that I believe, lay out the realities facing the people on the inside. People on the inside who have been, and are continuing to be investigated for, indicted on, and charged with alleged crimes related to the 2020 election, and the events of Jan 6. There are people who were in the Trump administration, people who were advising the administration, and still others who seem to have coordinated with people on the inside (as well as with elected officials in the legislative branch of government), who are now facing some serious consequences for their own actions.

(note: will the Judicial branch get dragged in because of family and outside connections to various Justices?)

Let me start with a group outside of the administration:

Trump's duly elected and qualified electors falsely stating they were the state’s - (Note: the 'duly elected' and 'qualified electors' use of phrases. The phrasing seems to mimic talking points from political caucuses and media allies. As if to imply in a subtle yet effective way that the elections of some elected officials are bogus.)

Michigan Republican charged in false elector plot agrees to cooperation deal

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A Michigan Republican accused of participating in a fake elector plot had all criminal charges dropped Thursday after he and the state Attorney General's office reached a cooperation deal.

James Renner was one of 16 Republicans who acted as false electors for then-President Donald Trump in 2020, according to charges announced in July by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. President Joe Biden won Michigan by nearly 155,000 votes, a result confirmed by a GOP-led state Senate investigation in 2021.

All 16 defendants pleaded not guilty to eight criminal charges, including multiple counts of forgery, after investigators say the group met following the 2020 presidential election and signed a document falsely stating they were the state’s “duly elected and qualified electors.”

But on Thursday, the attorney general's office announced during a court hearing in Ingham County that it would drop its case against Renner, 77, based on “an agreement between the parties.”

Mark Meadows’s Testimony in Georgia Case May Have Done Him No Favors

Mark Meadows, a former top Trump aide, took the witness stand in hopes of having his election interference case moved to federal court. So far, the strategy has not paid off.

At issue was whether his actions — as described in the indictment of Mr. Trump, Mr. Meadows and 17 others in Fulton County, Ga., last month — could be considered within the scope of his duties as White House chief of staff. Mr. Meadows made the case for that under questioning by his lawyer, but he hit a snag when a prosecutor asked whether he had “any role” in coordinating the bogus electors who were used in a last-ditch effort to keep Mr. Trump in power after he lost the 2020 election.

“No, I did not,” he replied.

The prosecutor then introduced into the record a December 2020 email that Mr. Meadows wrote to a Trump campaign staff member. In it, Mr. Meadows wrote, “We just need to have someone coordinating the electors for the states.”

“The evidence before the Court overwhelmingly suggests that Meadows was not acting in his scope of executive branch duties during most of the Overt Acts alleged,” wrote Jones.

Judge rejects Mark Meadows’ bid to move Georgia election interference case to federal court

CNN —

A federal judge on Friday rejected former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows’ bid to move his Georgia criminal case to federal court, a significant setback for Meadows and a troubling sign for former President Donald Trump.

US District Judge Steve Jones found that the allegations against Meadows contained in the Fulton County district attorney’s indictment on election subversion charges were largely “related to political activities” and not to Meadows’ role as White House chief of staff.

“The evidence before the Court overwhelmingly suggests that Meadows was not acting in his scope of executive branch duties during most of the Overt Acts alleged,” wrote Jones, a Barack Obama appointee.

Trump is 'not above the law,' prosecutors say in urging judge to let federal election case proceed

WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal prosecutors said Thursday that Donald Trump is “not above the law” as they urged a judge to reject the former president's efforts to dismiss the case charging him with plotting to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Lawyers for Trump had asked U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan earlier this month to toss the federal election subversion case, asserting that he was immune from prosecution for actions he took while fulfilling his duties as president.

Special counsel Jack Smith's team responded in its own filing Thursday that there is nothing in the Constitution, or in court precedent, to support the idea that Trump or any other former president cannot be prosecuted for criminal conduct committed while in the White House.

“The defendant is not above the law. He is subject to the federal criminal laws like more than 330 million other Americans, including Members of Congress, federal judges, and everyday citizens,” prosecutors wrote.

The question now heads to a decision from Chutkan, who is being asked to wade into the legally untested realm of a former president's claim of immunity from criminal prosecution. She's not likely to have the final word, though, as defense lawyers — if they fail to persuade Chutkan — will have the opportunity to press their arguments before a federal appeals court or, ultimately, a Supreme Court with a clear conservative majority.

Judge threatens to hold Donald Trump in contempt after deleted post is found on campaign website

Judge in New York fraud trial threatens Trump with 'possible imprisonment' for violating gag order

On October 3, "defendant Donald Trump posted an untrue, disparaging and personally offensive post about my principal law clerk," Engoron began.

Trump lawyer Christopher Kise blamed the “very large machine” of Trump’s presidential campaign for allowing a version of his deleted social media post to remain on his website, calling it an unintentional oversight.

LEGAL ISSUES
Jan. 6 charge faced by Trump upheld on appeal for second time

By Rachel Weiner
October 20, 2023

A federal appeals court has for the second time upheld the lead felony charge used against participants in the 2021 Capitol riot, a ruling that has implications for former president Donald Trump and hundreds of other defendants.

Thomas Robertson, a former police officer convicted at trial of obstruction of Congress and other charges last year, argued on appeal that he earnestly believed the 2020 election was stolen and so was acting honestly, not corruptly, when he stormed the Capitol to stop the results from being certified. The charge is one of the four former Trump faces in the same courthouse, and his lawyers have voiced the same defense — that Trump thought the election was stolen and had no corrupt intent.

The appellate court ruled that “there are multiple ways to prove that a defendant acted ‘corruptly,’” and requiring dishonesty “is at odds with the view of that term taken by the Supreme Court, this court, and Congress.” The opinion was written by Florence Pan, a Biden appointee, and joined by Cornelia Pillard, an Obama appointee. Karen Henderson, a George H.W. Bush appointee, dissented.

In advance of Jan. 6, Robertson said he was ready for “open armed rebellion.” He came to D.C. with a gas mask and a large wooden stick, which he used to swipe at police guarding the building. Inside, he pounded the floor with the stick as the crowd chanted around an outnumbered group of officers. Days later, Robertson celebrated on social media, saying “we actually attacked the government who is the problem.” He then destroyed his phone. Instead the appellate court ruled that Robertson’s behavior was corrupt because in pursuing his goals he “broke the law in multiple ways.” Along with obstruction he was convicted by a jury of impeding police and destroying evidence and sentenced to 87 months in prison.

“This case does not present a close question of culpability,” the court wrote.

Another Jan. 6 defendant, whose only felony conviction was for obstruction, is also appealing on the grounds that his behavior was not corrupt. That case is still pending. Friday’s opinion said that while separate felony convictions are sufficient to show corruption, they are not necessary, and it would set aside the question of other ways of proving corruption for now.

Trump co-defendant Kenneth Chesebro pleads guilty in Georgia election case

ATLANTA — Kenneth Chesebro, a former lawyer for Donald Trump’s campaign, pleaded guilty Friday to illegally conspiring to overturn Trump’s 2020 election loss in Georgia. The plea came in just hours after jury selection began in the highly anticipated case, ahead of an expected trial next month.

Chesebro pleaded guilty to a single felony count of conspiracy to file false documents, and accepted a sentence of three to five years of probation, a $1,000 fine, $5,000 in restitution to the state of Georgia, an apology letter, 100 hours of community service and a promise to testify truthfully against any other co-defendants in the case, should they go to trial.

In his plea deal, Chesebro implicated several of those co-defendants as being part of the conspiracy to file false documents — a charge related to his role organizing slates of pro-Trump electors to meet in seven states where Biden had won. They are Trump, four other lawyers including Rudy Giuliani, and one campaign operative.

Kenneth Chesebro, a lawyer criminally charged in Georgia for his role in what prosecutors describe as a conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election in favor of Donald J. Trump, accepted a plea deal on Friday, becoming the third of 19 co-defendants to plead guilty in the wide-ranging criminal racketeering indictment that also names Mr. Trump.

The plea from Mr. Chesebro, 62, came a day after Sidney K. Powell, another Trump-aligned lawyer charged in the case, also agreed to cooperate with the prosecution. Both defendants had exercised their right to a speedy trial under Georgia law, and had been preparing for jury selection to start on Monday.

With a trial date for Mr. Trump and the other remaining co-defendants unclear for now, the formerly fast-moving Georgia case is now on pause. At the same time, Mr. Chesebro’s plea has added to a sense of momentum in favor of prosecutors in Fulton County, Ga., although it was unclear on Friday whether other defendants were considering plea deals.

Mr. Chesebro, a Harvard-educated lawyer, was accused in the indictment of conspiring to create slates of so-called fake electors pledged to Mr. Trump in Georgia and several other states that President Biden had won. His lawyers had argued that he broke no laws and was merely offering legal counsel to clients.

You still cannot point out what law that was broken.

The fact is....the people who indicted Trump in Georgia are themselves guilty of covering up election fraud by the Biden Administration.

I've been trying to compile a list of links that I believe, lay out the realities facing the people on the inside. So one of Mr. Trump's lawyers, who accused others of election fraud, actually plead guilty to election fraud herself?

Few defenders of Mr. Trump promoted election fraud theories after his 2020 defeat to Joseph R. Biden Jr. as stridently as Ms. Powell. In high-profile appearances, often alongside other members of the Trump legal team, she pushed conspiracies involving Venezuela, Cuba and China, as well as George Soros, Hugo Chávez and the Clintons; she also baselessly claimed that voting machines had flipped millions of votes from Mr. Trump to Mr. Biden.

But on Thursday, she herself pleaded guilty to taking part in a conspiracy to tamper with an election. During Ms. Powell’s appearance in Fulton County Superior Court on Thursday morning, Judge Scott McAfee asked her: “Are you pleading guilty today because you agree that there is a sufficient factual basis, that there are enough facts, that support this plea of guilty?”

“I do,” she replied.

From what I understand....those people that plead guilty were moles. They got kicked of the Trump team shortly after they started making ridiculous claims they couldn't prove.

Doesn't it seem a little weird that none of them will serve a day in prison, you pathetic asshole???
