You'd need to read the 152 pages of transcript to see how fucked up the FBI was after Comey was fired. They seriously considered removing President Trump via the 25th Amendment among other things like an investigation into obstruction. The Baker testimony makes sense, and if its the "insurance policy" that Strzok and McCabe cooked up to remove Trump, Barr has his work cut out.

Not the best and the brightest. Fired FBI Director and social media #resistence influencer James Comey is confused about what Attorney General William Barr meant when he said the intelligence community was ‘spying’ on the Trump campaign.

Comey pretends the court actually ordered the spooks to spy or surveil the Trump campaign, leaving out the part where the spooks tricked the court into permitting them to use the massive leviathan of government resources to snoop on a political adversary. The court didn't just call up some folks at the intel agencies and say "I order you to surveil the Trump campaign!" I'm sure in time we will learn more about the spying Comey knows nothing about.

So, another thread that should be in the conspiracy theory folder. Trump cultists live in their own bizarre alternate reality. I suppose their rants make sense to those inside the cult, but it all looks like lunacy to normal people.

The Trump kooks don't really care that their conspiracy theories make no sense. Comey interfered in the election specifically to help Trump win. The FBI put Trump in office. If the FBI didn't want Trump in office, why did the FBI bust their butts to put him in office? Wouldn't it have been simpler to just _not_ interfere in the election and let Clinton win?
