Columbia University has places and locations for demonstrations.
Palestinian students here on visas taking over the library during finals week is not one of them.
This sounds like they violated a rule of the university's, not breaking an actual law.
Protesting at the wrong place is not the same as rioting. You like to accuse them of rioting because you are biased and don't like to hear anybody saying stuff against Israel. And alien visitors here on student visas are specifically told not to get involved in political matters especially by demonstrating or rioting (which is what they did)
If you still want to claim "they rioted", then you need to prove that they rioted.
