When is a dictatorship ok?

If the leader is efficient, honorable, has a good mental capacity...has good aides and counsel....I might work...for a while.....

a dictator is a boss or spouse that tells you what to do. We don't like it but when is it ok to be dictated by those in power? Is sometimes ok or never ok?
