Ever since then the regression has sped up and now we find ourselves flirting with disaster every time we take to social media to both have our voices heard and speak truth into the flames fanned by radical leftist false narratives of systemic racial injustice. End of watch either cooler heads will prevail and America will get back to being the greatest nation on the planet ever, or military applications will be used to restore order and then America will get back to our calamitous but wonderful normal.

"Common Sense" was once a publication the promoted the American Revolution. It had a definite viewpoint and was not impartial. Press does not need to be neutral. In fact, it is difficult to see how anyone can be genuinely neutral when the position of neutrality cannot even be established.
As used in this thread, common sense also cannot be defined. We may all have our idea of it and we may all wish common sense would rule. I can assure you that what I would call 'common sense' certainly has not ruled in my lifetime. Much closer is common nonsense.

Slavery was a common societal and economic tool for thousands and thousands of years. A tool used in place of what we call social aid programs today, prisons and the settling of debts. The United States of America was stylized after both the Greek and Roman civilizations. Thus it is no wonder slavery was forged into the founding of our nation and was viewed as "common" sense by many at the time. However, the most important bit of knowledge for an American child to learn about slavery is that it was abolished 155 years ago. Please reread the preceding sentence. Slavery was abolished 155 years ago.

That being the factual historical truth, there is no possible logical, legal or rational or moral or even emotional argument to be made for blaming or punishing the several generations removed progeny of American slave owners for their ancient and barbaric tendencies. If a civilization decided to play that particular game then I am quite certain white people alive today could find somewhere in history an event when Africans of one tribe or another harmed or wronged their ancestors. This kind of ideological thinking is known as Tribalism. Humans left to their own devices can indeed exhibit tribal behaviors. However, there is no official, legal place in either the founding documents or in the preservation of any civilization for tribalism, as a beneficial or benevolent policy or law or paradigm.

All of the above is little more than an academic or moot point regardless because the efforts underway to constantly inspire guilt in peoples of European descent is driven by radical ideology for the purpose of political power gain rather than righting any perceived historical injustice.

Black people bitching about companies that are not owned by blacks, selling beauty products to blacks. What? The company must state on all their products "btw, we are not black"? So..I asked a question and of course didn't get an answer:

Who makes the straight and wavy wigs y'all wear all the time? Black manufacturers or are they all white? And will you stop buying them now?

Remember the hoopla some time ago about Jeopardy show being supposedly racist because not a lot of blacks were ever on it. Alex Trebek finally had to respond that all are welcome to apply and pass the standard "are you smart enough" test they give all contestants...but none ever passed it. Common sense. If you cannot answer specific general knowledge questions, WHY would they accept your application to be on a show that is specifically harder than general knowledge questions???? PLUS, call them racist when the person is not "learned" enough.
