In the recesses of your mind
Three people that kept us in stiches, and in good humor.
Humor, when this country still actually had it..........thanks to funny men like these Kings!!!
I was lucky enough to live during their era's of keeping us laughing, teaching our kids humor, and keeping us from delving too far into the abyss we have now.

I miss them greatly!!!

Leslie Nielsen had a long, rather unremarkable career as a serious character actor. He didn't really gain much fame until late in his life, when he got cast in Airplane!, which established him as a wild comic actor.

I think very few know about the next significant project that Leslie Nielsen did, which was a short-lived TV show called Police Squad!. They only made six episodes, half an hour each. Some years later, they made a series of movies under the Naked Gun name, that were based on Police Squad!. Those were much more successful and better known than Police Squad! was.

America still has humor.

I'm talking about humor that makes you LAUGH............not throw your guts up and scream while pulling your hair out.

Dangerfield was a lot like Robin Williams in that he fought severe depression and anxiety most of his adult life.

What is interesting in the 1960s and into the 1970s... so many of the comedians and entertainers were raging alcoholics and basically teenage 50 year olds. So many of them were morally bankrupt and miserable people to be around.

You would be wrong. Merely applying your new age wokeness ideals into the people from the past does not make them how you want to describe them. Miserable to be around is a modern woke socialist where every word hurts their feelings.
