People who try and predict the Rapture to the day, are fools. Just as people who mock the reality of the Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ are fools.
Note early in the book of (Acts 5:32-39). The disciples were about to be killed when one famous Pharisee, Gamaliel, spoke up and said, (5:35) "...ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do as touching these men."
(5:36) "For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves; who was slain, and all, as many obeyed him were scattered, and brought to nought."
(5:37) "After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed."
(5:38) "And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:"
(5:39) "But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."
Gamaliel brought up people in the recent past who came claiming to be someone and got a following that turned into nothing. And note especially (Acts 5:38) and 'Judas of Galilee. When did he come claiming to be some special one? During the days of the taxing. And what else was going on in the days of the taxing? Jesus was born. (Luke 2:1-7)
Coincidence? Not hardly. We can see Satan's working behind the scenes. He raises up people who are kooks and shows how ridiculous it is to follow such. So that when the real One comes along, many just say, here comes another one, just like the others before.
Nothing new. Satan uses the same tactics as he did thousands of years ago. And fools still believe it.
