As far as Iraq goes, he needed congressional approval to go to war, which the democrats gave him immediately and based on the same information Bush had.

-will increase defense spending so we are spending double what the rest of the world pays on defense combined

In order to maintain our spot in the world as the big boy on the block that you should not be messing with we need the best toys, you dont get that by lowering your standards to the liking of 3rd world countries defense spending.

-give the rich tax relief by not making them pay any taxes so that they can create more jobs

Equal protection under the law, means the rich should not be taxed any different then the rest of us.

-stop taxing businesses completely so that they will create more jobs

Who said to stop taxing them completely? The capital gains tax needs to be lowered to allow for company growth, with that comes a boost in job creation.

-make certain that the poor pay the most in taxes since they are so lazy
