What makes someone a “Conservative”?

Not so sure DEI assures a level playing field. DEI is less for straight white men. That’s not remotely level.
DEI ensured opportunity for all
But the level playing field was more about workers vs corporations than black vs white.

But you are correct about one thing
Conservatives used DEI as a way to pit the white workers against others in their workforce instead of workers against their employers.

DEI is the reason you are not succeeding, not a management that stifles your wages and benefits

In my opinion since this is an opinion forum and facts rarely matter:

1) Limited Govt. States and local rule over Federal rule when possible

2) Personal responsibility over Govt is here to help

3) Support of Free Markets. Reasonable taxes. Reasonable regulation

4) Traditional values aka no furries, trans crap,
DEI

5) Strong and advanced military

6) Support strong border security and contolled
Legal immigration

7) Support strong law enforcement none of this cashless bail and such. Back the Blue

8) Support 2A

9) End birthright citizenship for illegals

10) Death penalty for convicted violent criminals

11) Pride in being an American

12) Reduce perpetual social programs and create a system of reward for work not for gaming the system

13) There are only two genders

Doesn’t sound so bad

🤷‍♂

To me, when you really get down to it - a conservative is someone who believes personal responsibility is the primary foundation someone's condition is in, whatever it is.
If you live in the U.S. and are poor, overwhelmingly that is going to be of their own bad choices, not some nefarious social causation. Therefore, they (we) do not believe the government should act like a mommy and take care of them.
Leftist want all the money everyone else has in order to give it to the non productive. They believe (pretend) that the cause of poverty is a combination of systemic societal problems that they can never substantiate.
