Really? Banks don't make bad loans......some to the point of collapsing a national economy? 2008 the latest example, ring any bells? Not to mention the 23 recessions caused by bad bank investments in the 20th century, 1907, 1929, 1945, 53-54, 73-75, 81-82, 90-91, 2007-2009.........ending with the 2020 recession.
Of course......the average lay person is most likely insured by the federal government that stops a total loss from becoming a reality. I just hope no one on this board lives in Europe.....the economy is going down hill fast.......worse than living in Mexifornia. I spent a decade living in Germany, of course there was no such thing as the Euro then......the Mark/Dollar exchange rate was 4 to 1 the first few years I was there, 1 dollar = 4 Marks. A good black market money exchanger...i.e, military loan shark, could have made a fortune, some did others ended up speaking directly to CID, they had short careers.
