What kind of President would allow 9.1% inflation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kind of President would allow 9.1% inflation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ronald Reagan and Joe Biden
So they should enact socialist policies to control the price gouging by private companies?

I did not equate full employment with the GDP.

All I know is that consumer spending is excellent. That is what drives our economy.

Your comment regarding Biden was unwarranted. Republicans keep trying to find fault regarding Biden, but they can't be specific. So, they generalize, and that is meaningless.

You said........

It is impossible to be heading for a recession with full employment.

You didn't mean it? You were wrong?

All I know is that consumer spending is excellent. That is what drives our economy.

It has been excellent. It's being harmed by 9.1% inflation.

Republicans keep trying to find fault regarding Biden, but they can't be specific.

I can be specific. He was an idiot before he got senile. Now he's clueless.

He attacks the fossil fuel industry and then whines when prices rise.
He weakened our domestic production and then asked Venezuela and Iran to pump more.
His weakness is at least partially responsible for Putin's invasion of Ukraine.
He'll probably lose Taiwan.

Can you come up with anything that he's done right?

My point is the hypocritical, immoral stupid Trump supporters blame Biden for inflation but when one of the Republican hero's, Reagan, had the same inflation, it was not his fault.

There is no way Reagan would support the immoral, lying, cheating Trump and his band of clowns.

From his campaign promises, to his first day in office, he set upon a mission to destroy the US oil producing ability:
The oil industry is extremely complex. I'll pass. Also, except for infrastructure, Biden's spending programs have been shot down by Republicans and Joe Manchin. I prefer a more positive view of our economy.

64% of Americans think we are in a recession.

64% of Americans are wrong!

But they cannot be faulted. Most Americans are doing fine despite inflation, but because of the attention the media is giving to recession -- even providing experts who say we are in a recession or soon will be -- they think Americans as a whole are not doing fine.

That, of course, is not true. However, an impending recession makes for a great news story.

Soon, we may learn that the GDP dipped for the second quarter in a row. Some say that means we are in a recession.

Well, they are wrong, too, so says Economic Professor Shanks.

The American economy is based primarily on three factors, employment, job growth, and, most of all, consumer spending.

We have been at or around 3.6% unemployment for most of the Biden administration. That is considered full employment. It is impossible to be heading for a recession with full employment.

ABC reports, "The nation's June jobs report showed that hiring has remained healthy, with employers adding 372,000 jobs last month." It is impossible to be heading for a recession with that kind of job growth, or any job growth, for that matter. Recession causes loss of jobs and growing unemployment.

Most important of all because the American economy is based on consumer spending, consumer spending is solid. See Personal Consumption Expenditures After a severe dip during Trump's Republican administration, consumer spending has been healthy. It is impossible to be heading for a recession with healthy consumer spending.

Strangely enough, when the networks try to scare you about an impending recession they never mention consumer spending. That is strange because the most important factor in our economy is consumer spending.

Consumer spending is only excellent because Trump gains were still in the people's pockets year's after he brought us back from the stale economy he inherited from - "what Cha gonna do Trump, wave your magic wand" to bring back job's ? Mic drop..... Obama was having to eat that mic, because Trump blew all of them out of the water, and made them to look devastated in doing so. They wanted vengeance, and that's what we've been experiencing as a country with these knucklehead Dimocrats ever since.

definition of recession - two quarters of negative GDP growth. Numbers will be released on Thursday and the entire world knows that we are in recession except for those wacky left that only can rely on feeling, not facts.

All I know is that consumer spending is excellent.
And yet you think that you have enough knowledge to communicate on such a topic.

I know more.

The housing market is about to crash, tons of companies are announcing layoffs [usually happens in the 4th quarter in a recession but things are really going to crap quickly], interest rates for homes is double what it was a year ago and the feds are about to increase rates by another 75 points [way too much, too fast]

Let's pretend that was coherent, LOL. TDS is a debilitating disease, turns you into a babbling idiot as well as a racist
/——-/ Joe’s ad running on HULU promoting jobs standing next to a Union Jack and UN emblem. Why?

Consumer spending drives the American economy, and it is excellent.

For political reasons, because you are a Trump Republican and Biden is our President, you need to be pessimistic about our country.

WASHINGTON, July 26 (Reuters) - U.S. consumer confidence dropped to nearly a 1-1/2-year low in July amid persistent worries about higher inflation and rising interest rates, which could undercut spending, pointing to slower economic growth at the start of the third quarter.

The survey from the Conference Board on Tuesday showed consumers sharply reassessing their spending plans this month, with the share of those polled intending to purchase major appliances like refrigerators and washing machines over the next six months the smallest since the current series began in late 2010.

That, combined with other data showing new home sales tumbled to their lowest level in just over two years in June, painted a picture of an economy vulnerable to a recession.

The economy is shrinking stupid schmuck

Classic, when Democrats try to redefine their way out of the classic definition of a recession, you blame ... the Republicans !!!!!

Democrats are more sheep than sheep are

/———/ We live Bidenism every day at the gas station, grocery store and we watch our life savings dwindling because of 9% inflation.

Yeah, by two-tenths of one percent.

Do you have any idea how large the American economy is? Here is a hint. It is the largest economy in the world, and Republicans like you keep complaining about it.
