Zone1 What Jesus endured, we also must endure or we won't make it to Heaven

he Great Whore. The Protestants are the Daughters of "that woman"

Your church was founded by Simon Magus after Simon/Peter rebuked him.

You don't understand "the Church "

The Church is the body of believers in whom dwells the Holy Spirit.

I hope I don't have to keep repeating myself

Says you.

I trust the CHURCH Christ founded, not some stranger on the net.

Where'd you get that stuff about the CC being founded by Simon Magus? Geez...

That's a new one on me. But I have studied things so you can deny, deny and argue all you want. You are a Protester against the CC, the Church Christ founded., the one and only. All non-Catholic "christian churches" originated with the apostate Catholic priest Luther, "Father of Protestantism." The Catholic Church originates with Jesus Christ and the 12. Someone lied to you about this Simon Magus nonsense

If the original is not the Catholic Church in your uneducated mind, which one is?

Lutherans?
Methodists?
LDS?
JWs?
Assembly of God?
Church of Christ?
Baptists?
Presbyterians?

Tell me where the original church is in your opinion

I am NOT Protestant nor Catholic.
That's what they all say, all who hate the Catholic Church. But their beliefs are traced back to LUTHER.

Then there were humans who revolted against Luther and started other "churches"... like the Methodists... then people disagreed with the Methodists (or you name it) and started another "church" so called... say, the Baptists.. then people broke off from the Baptists and so on and so forth..

They are all manmade "churches" who should not be calling themselves that because there is only ONE

that Christ founded. The Catholic Church goes back to the FIRST century and all Church historians know this, while all other "Christian churches" go back only as far as the apostate priest Luther, 1521.

I guess you will say there was no true Church until 1521... spare me

Nope. Im ignorant of the Protestant "fathers." I don't care about the opinions of men. I learned at the feet of JESUS. You should too instead of relying on men.

You don't love Jesus enough, apparently, or you'd be interested in Church history.
I guess you're afraid you'll be found wrong if you delve into it. Pride

You're in a war with everyone. Yet you think you're a victim "Catholic bashers."

I will tell you what I believe and why, while you call me a heretic 🤣

Two different Lazarus'. Just Google it.
ok. But the Lazarus raised from the dead is the one I was asking about.

After being raised from the dead by Jesus, was that Lazarus not permitted to go to heaven? If so, t would appear that Jesus resurrected a dead man who was going to hell, anyway.

The other fictional parable’s Lazarus has no bearing on the question.

Both are in the grave awaiting the Return. There is no eternal life UNTIL Jesus Returns -- first the dead in Christ (true Christians in whom the Spirit dwells), LATER, ALL Mankind (the White Throne Judgement)

Life is full of crosses and we all have to carry them, like it or not. The only alternative is to kill yourself, but that is when your troubles will REALLY begin, according to the ancient Christian Church (which is Catholic, the only one that goes back to the FIRST century [again, not speaking of the Vatican sect which is no longer Catholic]).

The True Catholic Faith teaches it's a mortal sin to kill yourself and you will (very likely) go straight to Hell. I say Very likely reluctantly because it would seem anyone who does this goes to Hell, but only God knows who goes to Hell or not. However, I say, Why take a chance?

So anyhow, if Christians feel crucified a lot -- because people don't agree w/ them on this and that.. because others don't like them mentioning Jesus "all the time" and etc... well, as the Original Church also taught, we are all called to be alter cristus (I believe that is the correct term), which means being another Christ.

Jesus said that whatever is done to the least of His people is done to Him. (Mt 25:31) so Doesn't that mean that He lives in us and therefore suffers with us through all that we go through?

Why this is so is a great mystery... seeing as how God could, if He wanted to.. remove all suffering from the Earth. Instead, we suffer along with Christ (who lives in us).

We don't like it..

But it is what it is...
Whether one is a Christian, a Jew, A Muslim or an atheist, the rain falls on all of us in equal measure. To make one's suffering as bearing a cross is just attempting top shoehorn your belief system into the natural order of life.

I may come across here as trying to troll you or other believers. But I swear, I’m not. What I am doing is probing the basis for (in this case) your beliefs. And, imho, you get points not just for having specific bases for these matters, but for seeming to have truly studied the Bible.

In that spirit, let me ask: didn’t Jesus return already on the very first Easter?

Thanks for the good attitude when most just want to bicker. It is refreshing.

I'm not sure what exactly you're referring to, but Jesus spent 40 days on earth after His resurrection, manifesting Himself in His earthly form, walking with and instructing His disciples before He returned to the Father.

This time He spent with His disciples is why they were able to BOLDLY preach the Resurrection and die for the Gospel (Good News)

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”

That is what I was specifically referencing.

He died. He was gone (having been crucified) for 3 days. He rose again, from the dead.

Thus, He returned.

That's a different way to look at it, but the Return the Bible speaks of us His Return from heaven to establish the Kingdom of God on earth

The entire world will know that day because the World will try to fight Him. They will fail miserably

A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.

I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.
Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light.

On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.

The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.

The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place. It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing.
A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.
If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.
If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.
This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles

That is perhaps what the Bible was saying. Since I don’t know, I’ll assume you are right about that. (Again, just to be clear, I don’t claim to be any kind of expert on the Bible or its teachings.)

You absolutely cannot assume he is correct on anything. He is a heretic, meaning he believes something that contradicts the Church CHRIST founded. If you want to know which one that is, go back in history. The protestants came on the scene LATE

in the 16th century with the apostate, formally excommunicated Catholic priest Luther

Catholicism goes back to the first century, to the Ascension of Christ.

Anyone who deviates from what Christ's Church formally teaches (and you have to look long and hard to find where that Church is today [it's not in the Vatican anymore]) is a heretic.

Have you visited Most Holy Family Monastery website? They have the answers on what happened, why the original Church is not in the Vatican anymore..........

The jailer, greatly concerned, approached the two, falling before them and pleading, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Paul and Silas replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved …” (Acts 16:30-31)
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.

Did you find any meaning in your suffering?

Because that’s the difference.

Damn. Your definition of crucifixion is a lot different than mine. Saying Jesus was crucified by people disagreeing with him on this and that is a lot different than the story I heard.
