If you refuse to offer your sufferings to Christ... you are missing out on a special part of what saves us. Jesus saves but non-Catholics can't always tell you HOW he does that. The Catholic Church has the answers... but everyone hates the Catholic Church so most people, as Jesus said, end up in Hell. There is no salvation outside His true Church (no longer extant in the Vatican)

The story isn’t something He told to make things clearer for people.

If He raised Lazarus from the dead but also said that NO MAN has ascended into heaven except Jesus, himself, then Lazarus must not have made it.

We're talking about two different Lazarus. But neither are in heaven. ALL MANKIND waits sleeping (DEAD) in the grave until Christ Returns and resurrects His saints FIRST and later the rest of the dead to judgement.

That is my belief. Of course everyone has ideas. The question is, are your beliefs consistent with Scripture

Jesus told a parable about a poor man named Lazarus, a beggar... and the rich man who saw him every day but refused to do anything for him. L ended up in "Abraham's bosom" and the rich man went to Hell... Luke 16:19
