Zone1 What is Wrong with Inequality?

So? You got lucky. Well done you. Does this mean everyone could do this?
My 'luck' was working my ass off and finally making the right choices. Anyone can do this, however it takes time. Can't be done overnight. It took me ten years to save for the down payment on my apartment building. That didn't bother me because I knew what I was going to do. No need for drastic sacrifices either, just plug away at your plan. Let's say you're going to California. Why not see the sights along the way. No need to rush, as you know where you're going.

And why is there excessive demand?

Because people are buying more homes, renting them out, so young people and those without homes can't now afford to buy homes?
Excessive demand is also a function of overpopulation. Trump is trying to reduce the population by deporting people who don't belong here and are taking up housing that should be occupied by citizens.

Yeah, my father got "great advice" when he got some money after redundancy. The financial advisor made money, my father lost money.
I manage my own finances. I may not make as much on my investments, but I sleep better.

Yeah, you still need luck, you could buy the apartment building and then property prices drop, or you have some problem or other.

It's still luck. Some people end up with their best years in a huge recession and can't get jobs, or live in a place where rent is prohibitively expensive and they can't save up and the like.

Oh, I'm sure that's why Trump is doing it. Not.

The US is certainly NOT overpopulated.

Generally speaking, "Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity."

But then people often don't know what to do, and people who are giving advice might be giving advice that suits themselves more than the person whose money it is.

You say "everyone can do it", it's just not so.

MAGA opposes minimum wage, unions, worker safety, healthcare, worker benefits

They have sold out to the wealthy

Nope. Giving our jobs to the third world is the problem. That is your side.

I have always tried to use the term anyone not "everyone" when discussing this.

Maybe the MAGA rank and file is "about helping the working class". But if you try to shift taxes away from the working class and onto the wealthy the MAGA leaders vote "NO".

MAGA is not focusing on tax reform. We are address the interests of the working class though jobs and wages.

If you try to pass laws providing better services or pay to the working class MAGA leaders vote "NO".

"Services"? Oh, you mean government jobs that gave the government power and that the left used to push their agenda?

If you pass laws to protect worker rights or safety MAGA leaders vote "NO".

You give workers leverage by reducing employer access to third world labor, and workers can protect their own rights.

You ever have leverage over your boss? I have, it was great. I want that for everyone.

If you try to protect working class healthcare or spending for veteran healthcare MAGA leaders vote "NO".

Nearly everyone I know has fine healthcare. What we need, what the working class needs is jobs and rising wages.

If MAGA is "about helping the working class" why do they vote for the party that does everthing it can to make life harder for the working class?

stop actively working to ignore the facts of the case.

What is worse is the conservative's demonize the left in America as bad people when their only crime is disagreeing with the right.

No, it's not. THe left has been playing in bad faith, and being violent assholes.

The main component of the ONLY bill Trump has going is tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. Wages have been stagnant since 1980 and perform better under democrats. I linked it above.

I mean if you make up stuff you can decide to support anything. How does cutting SNAP benefits, which is food for kids mostly, push an agenda? How does cancer research push an agenda? You guys run around thinking you are a victim when the stoplight changes from green to red like that was a conspiracy.

I am one of the few people in the country who can do what i can do. That is why I am well compensated. Most people don’t have that which is why Labor Protections are required in a capitalist economy. We have failed miserably. Having faith that shit will be shared fairly isn’t working. Look at where we are, most people have nothing and a few have it all. The middle class is hollowed out. It’s not the kind of work being done… everyone is employed.. it’s what they are paid for the work.

There are about 30M uninsured. If you are average you know around 150 people very well.
stop actively working to ignore the facts of the case.
I only supply facts. You just claimed there are no uninsured because you don’t know any. You didnt supply a fact in your post. It was all opinion.

Wages are the price for labor. Reducing the supply though better immigration control and though better trade policy is a clear path to higher wages.

Why are you prtending that this is not the primary focus of MAGA?

The abuse of government budgets exposed by DOGE is not something I am making up.

The working class, the middle class, MAGA, we don't want "Services" we want jobs and rising wages. Give us that and we can take care of ourselves.

The middle class was hollowed out by bad trade policy that exported our industrial base and various policies that vastly flooded the labor market.

LABOR PROTECTIONS translate to power and money for unions, who are more concerned with getting dems elected then they are protecting their members.

I did NOT say there were NO uninsured. I said that "nearly everyone I know" has fine insurance.

You twisted what I said and then addressed the strawman you created.

Nearly everything libs do today is to deny the reality of what maga is and does and then talk shit.

What is the point of that? It seems that you are afraid that MAGA will work and prove us right and you wrong.
